We loved our experience at Escondite. The food was exceptional as well as the atmosphere.
There were little mixups with our orders, but the server was very accommodating & made it right. I can't wait to eat there again. I'm still thinking about the delicious ceviche & the fish tacos.

Great taco restaurant in downtown Montreal. Kike serves some amazing drinks. I recommend the Lamb Birria & Korean Steak tacos.

We came without a reso on a busy Thursday night. We were greeted warmly at the door & seated within 5 minutes despite the restaurant being full. The restaurant had lovely decor, & a great upbeat energy. The tacos & guac we had were absolutely exceptional & very fairly priced, especially for a busy downtown restaurant. Our server (& assistant manager for the restaurant) Charlie was so friendly & attentive. We even did shots with the manager when he came to chat with us.

Don't miss this gem in downtown Montréal!

Total of $16 including taxes & tip for 3 tacos!! & literally only three tacos - nothing else! The tacos were okay but not good for that price. I was so hungry afterwards I had to go somewhere else to eat. This is a tourist trap lol.

I didn't like the food. I ordered chilaquiles & the crunchy nachos were very greasy & very poor sauce no beef no chicken at all I have to return it back & change for another option. Tacos al pastor however it's still not a real mexican food & a bit expensive for the portions too.
Although the atmosphere & the waitress were very kind.
