Vraiment très bon restaurant ! Tout était savoureux. Jai été ravie par le service de notre serveuse Jessica. Elle était super souriante, douce & très patiente tout au long du repas. Elle a pris le temps de répondre à toutes nos questions avec gentillesse & s'est assurée que nous ne manquions de rien. I always enjoy my food at escondite, I actually found this place on a food show watching the food network & was happy to try it out. I love their korean steak tacos they are my favourite thing on the menu, I cannot go to this place without ordering them some times im guilty of ordering them twice! I also really enjoy their mango salad & i love their Micheladas they are not a common thing in montreal so im always happy to enjoy one at their restaurant. The service was a bit slow but the food made up for it.Voir plus

Je suis allé au Escondite & c'était un coup de coeur du début à la fin! L'ambiance était chaleureuse, les plats savoureux & authentiques, mais ce qui a vraiment fait la différence, c'est le service impeccable que nous avons reçu.
Un énorme merci à Nada, notre serveuse, qui a rendu notre soirée encore plus spéciale! Son énergie, son sourire & ses recommandations parfaites ont ajouté une touche humaine & attentionnée à notre repas.
Je recommande vivement ce resto pour une sortie entre amis. & si vous avez la chance d'être servis par Nada, vous êtes entre de très bonnes mains!Voir plus

Nous étions un groupe assez nombreux un vendredi soir, & malgré l'achalandage, Nada a assuré un service fluide & bien organisé. Elle est restée attentive à nos besoins tout au long de la soirée. Nourriture bonne malgré le service très ordinaire, ils sont venus nous voir 3 fois au début pour nous répéter qu'il y avait eu un manque de communication en cuisine & que c'est pour cette raison que je c'était long. Nous avons attendu 30 minutes avant d'avoir notre première assiette à partir de quand nous avons commandé. De plus, nous avons prit le menu dégustation & avions une seule demande, pas le tacos poulet frit & c'est celui qui est arrivé dans notre assiette parmi tout les choix de tacos. Nous avons attendu 45 minutes pour la facture pour qu'une autre serveuse vienne nous la porter elle même en nous disant que nous avions été oublié.
Nous étions allé à celui a repentigny avant & allons définitivement retourner à ce dernier car pour le même prix nous avons eu des portions plus généreuses dont un dessert 3x plus gros & un plat de tacos de plus qu'à celui à laval ainsi qu'un meilleur service.Voir plus

I will start off by saying that the food is delicious. Tasty & full of flavour. My issue is the customer service & for this reason I don't think I will be returning to this location. It's my 3rd time at this location & the last two times have left me feeling very uneasy. Our waitress (brunette, about 5'5) always seems to be in rush. Back in December, before we even got our dessert, a friend wanted to order coffee, she proceeded to tell us -an hour before closing that the coffee machine had already been cleaned & it wasn't possible to have coffee. We were taken aback. How can you possibly tell your clients, who haven't even had dessert that the machine was closed? She then proceeded to "open it" because we ended up telling her that we wanted a coffee & her argument didn't make any sense. Tonight a similar situation happened. She didn't ask us for coffee yet rushed us, we were eating dessert & she came to the table to ask us if we were done with it… my friend was chewing. We took the tasting menu, while I specifically said mild, many dishes were spicy. She didn't ask us if we wanted any choices in particular. She just brought what she felt like brining. We felt completely rushed. Our reservation was at 8:30, it took 20 min to get drinks. By the previous comments it seems like this is an ongoing issue with this location that clients are rushed out because they want to close early or close at exactly closing time. At 11:00 pm on the dot, all the lights were opened brightly as if we were in a cafeteria. There were still about 20 people in the restaurant. If you are an owner reading this, staff like this will hinder your business. Although the food is great, when customer service is lacking on more than one occasion, clients will choose to go elsewhere.Voir plus
