The host was very very nice & made sure we were very well taken care of, this is not to mention the quality of the food we had there. I highly recommend the degustation menu for a nice variety of Russian staples!

Absolutely amazing! We had the tasting menu, & we would highly recommend it. Everything was such high quality, so tasty, & we left extremely full. We also had some vodka with the meal, would also recommend!
Our family of five had the table d'hote for lunch. The food was excellent. Our host was very welcoming, & we would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to enjoy traditional Russian food in a nice atmosphere. This place is located in 5 min walk from St-Joseph Oratory.
We had the delightful opportunity to dine at Ermitage on Friday night, & it was truly a wonderful experience. The warm ambiance & attentive service created the perfect setting for an exceptional evening. Right from the start, we were impressed by the interior decor & the well-spaced tables, providing us with a comfortable & romantic atmosphere to enjoy our evening with my partner. The menu at Ermitage is a true celebration of authenticity & flavor, highlighting the diverse tapestry of Russian culinary traditions. Our choices for the main course, the beef stroganoff, & lamb chops were absolutely delicious - highly recommended! The flavors brought back nostalgic memories of my childhood. What added an extra layer of warmth to our experience was the incredible kindness of the staff. Their hospitality & friendliness made our evening truly special. We look forward to returning to Ermitage in the future!
I want to say thank you to the whole team! It is truly one of a kind experience & service. The food is amazing to say the least. I have been to multiple Eastern European places around Montreal & so far, this is my #1 spot! It tastes authentic & leaves you full, but not in unpleasant way, rather it makes you feel so cozy & snoozy, I felt like I was back at my Babushka's place back when I was a child. Besides the food, I feel like what ties the whole experience together are the servers! Galina is an amazing human being! She knows how to make you feel comfortable & will make sure throughout your dinner you have everything that you need & more! As well as Nana ( I hope this is how you spell her name 😊) is always there to fill your cup with fresh water & give fresh baked bread. Always smiling & happy, they make you want to come back for more! The atmosphere in the place itself is also on point! No loud distracting music! No big bright lights! Just nice jazz/classical tunes & candles! 100% recommend!
The ambiance, the food & the service were all A+. The waitress is very welcoming & makes you feel at home. The food is typically russian / eastern european & made to the highest quality standard. I highly recommend the tasting menu. Will definitely come back!
Wow, wow, wow.... This was the first time eating Russian food. The restaurant was tastefully decorated for the Christmas holiday. We were greeted & immediately seated at a table for two. Since it was the first time here, we opted for the tasting menu. A basket of warm bread was brought to the table with butter. We started with the fish platter, then the salmon caviar & blini. A small bit of homemade sour cream was provided. Next was a platter of piroshki & pelmeni. To clean our pallets, we had sherbet that was doused with vodka. How refreshing. The main dishes, which we selected, consisted of an order to lamb chops & an order of wapiti steak. Both have light gravy, roasted potatoes, & a variety of vegetables. A dessert of blinchiki with a light cheese stuffing & a drizzle of a cherry/raspberry coulis. Tea & / or coffee was also available. We were stuffed. The food was ALL, absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back. The service was unbelievable. Parking is a bit tough but doable. Reservations are highly recommended. The restaurant is very small & fills up quickly. Enjoy...
