Best restaurant I have ever been to, the server is extremely nice & very passionate about her work. The food is the best food there is, the tasting menu would be a great first choice. Everything is home made, not previously frozen or'frozen fresh', you can very much taste the difference between the fresh bread & ingredients used in this restaurant & the frozen products used in others. 10/10 recommend.

Absolute perfection! The food at Restaurant Ermitage is a 10/10, the atmosphere is incredibly cozy, & the owners provide the warmest service in Montreal. A true hidden gem! ✨
Great restaurant, great service, amazing atmosphere, tastefully decorated. Very tasty food, we took the Balkan salad as well as avocado & shrimp salad & pirozhki with meat as appetizers, Borscht (beet soup) & they served us some homemade bread & butter while we waited for the food. As a main we ordered Filet mignon rossini, Grilled lamb chops & the pork schnitzel. Fillet was a nice thick piece & a perfect medium-rare, lamb was juicy & the sauce it came with was perfect, I dipped my side veggies into it as well. The schnitzel can compete with any one I had in Austria or Germany it was THAT good! It also came with a cream based sauce, it was to die for!
For dessert we had the sour cherry vareniki & blini (crêpe) with cottage cheese filling, both came with a little strawberry coulis that paired perfectly with the dish ! Everything was homemade with lots of care & love. You can tell that the chef takes pride in sending you out the perfect dish & all those tasty flavors will keep you coming back for more! Thank you for a great experience!

Having vodka & pickles is a combo that WORKS. The blini+caviar, chicken Kiev, Salmon+veggies, cream of mushroom soup (AMAZING!!!), cabbage pirozhki, & potato pirozhki were fantastic. Can't wait to come back there when we can!

Ermitage has a quiet & comfortable atmosphere. The menu is exquisite & the service extremely warm & welcoming. Loved the food. Parking was difficult however the restaurant staff were extremely helpful to inform us that parking was free on the weekend's after 6 pm. Definitely will return on our next vacation to Canada
?This was the first time my Canadian family decided to try Russian cuisine, & we couldn't have picked a better place! The food & service were absolutely top-tier. The atmosphere is so warm & welcoming, it feels just like coming home to Mom's for dinner.
?My family wasn't a huge fan of the pelmeni (dumplings), & even though we said it was totally fine, the owner insisted on bringing out other dishes for them to try-completely on the house! They even offered to pack some extra food for us to take home. I have never experienced such genuine warmth & care in a restaurant before. Five stars all the way! We left with the best impressions & full hearts. Thank you so much!
Discovered this gem on the first day in Montreal. Entered on a rainy day looking for quality food, & was absolutely surprised - great host who patiently explained the menu, really tasty eastern-european food without waiting too long, beautiful museum-style interior. Absolutely 5 stars!
