The Hermitage Museum in Saint-Petersburg is world famous. Real gourmets also remember the Hermitage (Ermitage) restaurant in Moscow. It is there, at the end of the XIX century, that French chef Lucien Olivier invented his renowned Russian salad.
Ermitage restaurant in Montreal keeps both traditions: the artistic atmosphere of the Saint-Petersburg Museum and the refined cuisine of Moscow famous French restaurant.
Ermitage offers an authentic Eastern European dining experience with many dishes made in house, from bread to dairy, and a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels both cozy and refined. The menu blends world famous classics with signature specialties, including pelmeni, beef stroganoff, chicken Kiev, and delicate desserts like medovik, all crafted from high quality ingredients. Service is consistently attentive and friendly, and the setting combines quiet elegance with a welcoming, homey vibe. The restaurant earns high praise for its remarkable flavor, thoughtful touches, and good value, making it a standout choice for occasions or a special night out.
We were group of 3 adults & 3 kids. We had such a great experience! Delicious food. Service was outstanding! We never had to wait or ask anything. Recommend to anyone who wants a great experience!
One of the best authentic restaurants in town! We were hosted by the owner, who treated us like kings. Will become our go-to restaurant forever. Perfect for a romantic outing, or with family. The best experience in town.
Fantastic experience that left me wanting to come back for more soon! Food, service, & ambiance were of exceptional quality (this was my third visit). Highly recommend!
This was my second time there in a month. I returned last night with friends, because I enjoyed it so much the first time, & it was wonderful again. Five of us had the tasting menu, which is seven courses. We felt very welcomed & enjoyed each course. The restaurant has cozy feel, & attracts return clients & people celebrating special events. The prices are good, too.
