About us
The Hermitage Museum in Saint-Petersburg is world famous. Real gourmets also remember the Hermitage (Ermitage) restaurant in Moscow. It is there, at the end of the XIX century, that French chef Lucien Olivier invented his renowned Russian salad.

Authentic food & decorations which bring back memories about the home & childhood. Nowadays in most of restaurants a waitress brings you a plate with an attitude & expects 30% tip. Here you have a totally different experience of being welcomed as a special guest of the house by the hosts. The prices are a bit high but they do reflect the quality & taste of the dishes.View more

It was a very pleasant surprise discovering this gem in Montreal. The menu was written in three languages; French, English, & Russian. It brought back tastes of childhood growing up in the country. The decor was beautiful to admire during our visit. The bread served prior to the meal was deliciously hand made. Possibly my best dining experience in Montreal. My partner & I decided to celebrate our anniversary here. Both being of Eastern European heritage, our standards are quite high when it comes to cuisine resembling our own - & I can honestly say that Ermitage blew us away. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, & incredibly authentic! Moreover, every single thing they serve is made from scratch. Each course of the tasting menu was a delight, & the amount of food served was perfect. We chose different main meals, both of which were made with meat so tender that it melts in your mouth. I also can't overstate how pleasant & attentive the service was. I'm so glad that we decided to celebrate our special day here, & am very much looking forward to our next visit!View more

Les plats russes & européens sont excellents à ce restaurant! Le chef m'a cuisiné un gâteau spécial secret pour célébrer mon anniversaire. Je suis très content! Nous y avons fêté l'anniversaire de mon mari. C'était notre première fois chez Ermitage & ce fut la plus belle découverte de la soirée. L'atmosphère & les décorations du resto te transportent dans un autre siècle. Gala, la hôte, nous a accompagné avec des conseils & des recommandations dans nos choix. Elle fait vraiment attention à chaque petit détail pour nous offrir une expérience de rêve. Nous avons pris le boeuf bourguignon, l'agneau, le filet mignon Rossini & la caille flambée. Absolument impeccable, pas un mot à redire. Pour une petite entrée à partager, le plat principal & une bouteille de vin à quatre, on a payé entre 50-60$ par personne, ce qui est un prix super décent considérant la fraîcheur des plats préparés sur le coup & maison. Notre seul regret c'est de ne pas avoir pu prendre un dessert, mais ça va nous donner l'occasion d'y retourner.View more
