J'y suis allee en famille un samedi. La nourriture etait vraiment bonne & fraiche, les serveuses etaient super gentille & attentionnees, en plus il y a eu un groupe de musique en fin de soiree pour que les gens dansent. J'y retournerai sans aucun doute
I was expecting a lot per the reviews, but the experience exceeded my expectations. The quality of the food was very good - I won't mention the individual items - too many, but all were quite good. Buffet format is really the best for this. Even the pizza (not really cabane a sucre food...) was very good. Music for the evening was country - not my favorite - I prefer traditional quebecois, but it was OK. Service was excellent, even when the place was full. Thanks to Gladys - she was extremely nice. Most tables are banquet style, but my wife & I had a table for 2. The hostess Melanie was also very pleasant. We have been looking for a few years for a good cabane a sucre, & we definitely found one. Miles ahead of our previous experiences. Thanks!
Edit: we arrived early - 5:00, & the place was empty - no wait at the buffet. But it filled rapidly after 6PM & the buffet line grew considerably - I can't say how long the wait was though - it seemed to move fast enough.

Première expérience en famille la nourriture est vraiment excellente en plus elle est très variée tenant compte d'un menu de cabane à sucre. J'aurais aimé un choix de café de plus haut de gamme.

Première visite accompagné de notre famille de l'Ouest Canadian & tout le monde a été satisfait.
L'endroit est très beau & propre. Le choix de plat style buffet était délicieux. Nous avons adoré l'ambiance avec le chansonnier. Il a même chanté «bonne fête» à notre fille!
Excellent accueil, convivial & serviable.

Nourriture plus que délicieuse très frais & beaucoup de choix! Les staffs est super polie & plusieurs personne se sont occupés de nous donc nous n'avons jamais manqué de rien! Première fois pour moi mais certainement pas la dernière!
Wow wow & re wow! Cette cabane a tout pour plaire. Le buffet est plus qu'excellent... du saumon, des classiques de la cabane avec les meilleures oreilles de crisse & 2 sortes de jambon. En plus la musique live met une ambiance de feu! Je recommande fortement , c'est la meilleure cabane à vie!!
I really wanted to like the place, but the food, service & overall cost benefit comparing to other places is not so good. I can imagine that the good reviews are from people who never have been to a sugar shack before or they were lucky. The pies tasted like the pies you can buy at the grocery. The pudding chômeur was extremely soft & dissolved in the maple syrup. It really looked & tasted more like a sweet soup. The donuts were hard & the taste was whatever. The soups were very salty. The eggs were not fluffy. The worst I have ever eaten in a sugar shack. The bread was ok. The meat pie (tourtiere) was good. The salmon & the ham were good. The service is fast & friendly. Sadly, they try to force us to buy drinks, before mentioning that coffee is included. We arrived early & with a baby, they originally placed us just where there is a speaker for the band. We asked to move to another place, & they put us in another table, but they told us we would need to leave earlier. It was ok, we had time to leave, but it was clear they are still working the logistics. They had a hard time to find a high chair for our baby & walking with a stroller between the tables was awful. The tables are too close to each other. Also, the everybody is walking to get food all the time, plus the service team, it gives a sensation of super crowded place & full of movement. The band was nice, but while we were there, they only played 2 songs & they were American country, not quebecois, as expected. The farm with animals is really a joke. It has like 4 animals & it is really small. Nothing really exciting for kids. The concept of the buffet is interesting, but I dont think it is worthwhile & I don't recommend the place if you want tasty food & a traditional quebecois experience. For the price, definitely not. I only go to a sugar shake once a year & I wished I would have gone to another one.
Vraiment un beau moment. La nourriture est très bonne ( style buffet), un bon choix & certains items très originaux ( saumon à l'érable, tarte aux pommes-crème tartes aux bleuets, brochettes de porc à l'érable...) Bonne salades d'accompagnement. Un interprète musicien sur place. Petit enclos avec quelques animaux ( assez pour divertir les petits). Cependant les tables sont vraiment trop rapprochées & pas d'espace pour passer entre les chaises pour s'asseoir sans déplacer quelqu'un. C'est la cohue en entrant tant il y a du monde. Pour le service nous n'en avons eu aucun. Personne n'est venu pour nous offrir du café, voir comment ça allait... Alors pour les tips de 20% ou 30% ont repassera. Si vous pouvez demander à être placé à une table ronde ( 8 chaises ) au lieu des tables en rangé avec 60 chaises.

Love the buffet & live band! However, feel a little bit upset about their service is that our server took away the plates asap when she saw the plate is half empty only! There's even once that Im still enjoying my meal & she already stands beside me asking me am I finish, can she take it..... :(
