We had an amazing date night with my husband on Saturday evening around 7 p.m. The restaurant was buzzing & very busy, which immediately showed how popular it is.
We started with beef tartare & fried calamari-both were perfectly done. For the main course, I had the risotto & my husband chose the ossobuco; both dishes were delicious & well executed. The portion sizes were just right, leaving room to enjoy everything we ordered.
The dessert, however, didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. That said, we would definitely come back.
We can never resist the fried calmari here. Service is always excellent. Their pastas & pizzas are generally very good, but I do not recommend the arugula fresh tomato one. Typically no need to reserve on a weekday but tends to get busy on a weekend.
Visited this restaurant back in December of 2023. I was disappointed at the the service here.
It was a birthday of a former friend It was Saturday & super busy. My former friend made a reservation for a group 10 people much or less.
It was packed & beyond packed! every corner was full. When I came in 8:20PM, the table was supposed to be ready for 8:30PM.
The lady said the table was not ready.
So We waited & after 9:30PM we finally got a table.
I could not stay any longer. I had work the the following day early in the morning but we waited 1 hour for our table which the previous guests stayed for 3 WHOLE HOURS.
What a shame that the customers stayed that long. THEY should learn that it's not a place for chatting & people need to eat.
The management should have done an ACTION or acted IMMEDIATELY because 3 HOURS is just plain wrong.
It's both the customers & management at play here.
Would have love to try the food here but did not get the chance. Unfortunately. Once so visit this place & hopefully get a table I will give it a proper rating.
So hopefully I will give it a try but for now I'm indifferent on service & how the restaurant is being run.
I do hope they make changes & make it better in the present & future.

Amazing experience! Despite the restaurant being very busy the service was excellent! Our waitress Rosalie was super friendly & efficient! Food was delicious- highly recommend the burrata pizza!
Delicious food!! Atmosphere was really nice despite how busy it was. BUT the service was spectacular, our waitress Rosalie was especially attentive. I can't wait to come again with friends.

Monza in Montreal offers a fantastic dining experience with a chic, modern ambiance. The wood-fired pizza & pasta dishes are delicious, made with fresh ingredients & rich flavors. Service is friendly & attentive. It can get quite busy, but overall, it's a great spot for Italian cuisine.
It was a busy evening! Lots of noise. Nothing you can do about that, however found It unsettling to see young men hanging around the front when we arrived & again when we left. If they were customers they would of been seated inside. Just not sure what to make out of that.

ordered steak medium rare got well done...asked fir new one & said no problem but it would take 20-30 minutes because kitchen eas really busy....didn't want to wait that long because was with 5 other people didn't want to wait
We usually love Monza!
But the food wasn't the same.
Something is definitely different & it's not as good as it used to be.
The family size ceasar salad was barely enough for 2.
There used to be bread brought to the table, not anymore.
Also, the menu is very difficult to read. The font is very small & very pale.
The waitress was nice but never came to see if we needed more drinks.
It was almost not busy at all as it was 4pm on a Monday.
Like I said, we have been coming to Monza for years, but it wasn't up to its usual standards.

Food was average at best it was bland & uninteresting, service was slow (it was busy though), no one ever refilled our water, the waitress did not seem to have time for us.
Had a wonderful date night last night at Monza. The food was delicious like always & the service was right on point. I was happy that they are following covid health guidelines & it felt like a fun safe night out. Our server was super attentive even though they were really busy. We will definitely be back.
Food was very tasty. Their pizza & past dishes are exquisite, but their meat dishes fall a bit short for price & expectations. As for the service, we were their on a busy Friday evening, & it took us 10 minutes to get water & drinks after we were greeted at the table, which dampened the mood a bit. We were half way through our appetizer before the drinks appeared.
The food never, ever disappoints. We were a party of 14 on a fairly busy night, & our waiter Michael was attentive, polite, courteous – his service was over the top !!
We were a group of 20 waiting to be seated on New Year's Eve 2018-19. Although we had to wait as the restaurant was busy, I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences we've had. The waiters & waitresses were inviting with their smiles as were the busboys. No matter who was attending our table, smiles were to be seen all around. My wife & I don't get out very much. Thanks to all of the staff at Enoteca Monza DDO for a memorable evening amongst friends & family.
Went to Monza for a family dinner. Arrived at 7:45. Four of us received our dinner plates at 9:05... The fifth member of our party received his plate AFTER we had all finished eating. As per the restaurant manager, the chef was busy? Completely ruined our dinner. Will not be returning to this restaurant.
