The cocktail was disappointing-no better than a glass of water. The pasta was good, but the risotto was terrible: salty, grainy, & bland, making every bite flat & unsatisfying. Stick with the safe menu options like pizza & pasta.
The restaurant also didn't have enough staff, & we waited over an hour for our food. While the servers were really good, the owners should ensure they have adequate staffing.
Seems like a pretty standard Italian restaurant. They have a pizza oven, make Neapolitan pizzas, & offer pastas & other typical entrees. We had the Capricciosa & Calabrese pizzas. The Capricciosa was on the salty side, & gave the impression that the toppings weren't cooked in the oven with the pizza itself. It was still enjoyable. The Calabrese was very tasty & also very spicy, easily the better of the two & I would order it if I came back.
The cocktails are a decent price, though the ingredients for some of them seemed odd. Many had a'sweet & sour' premixed ingredient in the descriptor, which isn't something I usually look for with a cocktail.
The staff were kindly, though didn't seem very engaged with us & perhaps gave the impression that they were impatient for us to make an order? There was nothing unprofessional however, just an energy.
Might come back to try other pizzas, but it is not an establishment that excited me. It was an enjoyable but average meal.

We can never resist the fried calmari here. Service is always excellent. Their pastas & pizzas are generally very good, but I do not recommend the arugula fresh tomato one. Typically no need to reserve on a weekday but tends to get busy on a weekend.
I've had many reservations here at Enoteca Monza DDO & I must admit they have excellent service, the food was outstanding, & the ambiance was top tier. If you are looking for a place to dine out in the west island, this is THE place to go to. The separate bar area adds an extravagant vibe & feels very cozy. The chicken panuzzo is a must try, if you are looking for a meal other than pasta or pizza!!!

Pizza is good. As for the pasta I would expect a better quality of pasta. Sauce is good. I feel like it's cheap pasta, they give you a big plate but I would expect better quality. The calamari entrée is good.
Food: I ordered BISTECCA ALLA GRIGLIA which I think is a 7/10. The steak was okay, didn't exceeded my expectation. Though, I love the taste of mashed potato & other sides. Last time, I ordered ORECCHIETTE SALSICCIA E RAPINI pasta, it's a 10/10 for me. &, my friend ordered a LAMB SHANK which I tried & it tastes good. It's a 9/10, not a 10/10 because it had too much sauce. Ambiance: I like how cozy the place is with dim lights. It was loud when we went there, but no big deal. Service: The server was friendly & patient enough to answer our questions & she gave us recommendations. Overall, it was a good experience.
I went to have a dinner, i have been going there occasionally for 2 years. I used to love their pasta & pizza. The food taste is not the same as it used to be. I was very dissatisfied with the way the food tasted.
Monza in Montreal offers a fantastic dining experience with a chic, modern ambiance. The wood-fired pizza & pasta dishes are delicious, made with fresh ingredients & rich flavors. Service is friendly & attentive. It can get quite busy, but overall, it's a great spot for Italian cuisine.
Went here for a company xmas department dinner. Lot of appetizer choices Wood fired thin crust pizzas (didn't look that exciting) Pastas (both individuals & family size servings if you want to share). I brought home half my individual pasta is was too big to eat chicken, & I think 1-2 steak & salmon choices (mostly pizza/pasta) Overall very nice place, good service, not too loud, only a few TVs on the walls. Average I would guess is $40-60pp depending on drinks & appetizers
Had asked to make sure pizza would not be overcooked & was overcooked. Disappointed. Person with me has said they did mot want the pizza as it was undercooked when they had it last time & ordered pasta which was very good. So not sure...jury is still out.

The food was excellent, however, we did find the pasta dishes a little large. A senior sized portion would be an asset. The Chicken Parmagiano was a perfect size. We also found that sitting in a booth was quieter than sitting in the more open area. The wait staff were attentive & pleasant. All in all an excellent experience.
An overall, really decent Italian spot. Big portions of incredible food, many options on the menu. We had pizza, was delicious. Pasta I have rarely tasted this good (with cognac sauce who knew?), it had to be taken home for an even better breakfast the next morning!
Loud place but the many booths help for a slighter quiet & romantic ambiance. Will definitely will be back.
