The restaurant itself was beautiful, with a great atmosphere, but unfortunately, the service was a letdown. We were seated at the bar, which was disappointing since we had come for my fiancé's birthday. Initially, the waiter was friendly & offered some good recommendations, but the food didn't meet our expectations, although the drinks were fantastic. When it came time to pay, my fiancé suggested we cover an additional dish we didn't enjoy, & he offered to tip on his own to balance out the bill. The waiter's response was disappointing - he seemed to expect more & even mentioned that tipping depends on overall experience, all while showing a disrespectful attitude. While I understand tipping is optional & based on the experience, I don't think it was justified to demand a large tip after a less-than-pleasant meal. I still tipped, but it felt unnecessary given the service. We've had much better experiences at other fine dining places, where both the food & the service made us want to return. This experience was unfortunately not one of them, & I regret spending so much for such a crap experience.View more

Upon arrival you are greeted by staff to take your jackets which is nice. When we arrived upstairs I guess it didn't matter if you had a reservation or not because apparently'there's no seats available' even with my reservation. We were seated on the terrace on high chairs which were super uncomfortable.
Now the staff/server took forever to come to us which was pretty bad, we waited about 15 minutes just to get greeted & water. After explaining the difficult menu the server went ahead & explained ANOTHER'secret' menu that he was having trouble with remembering, also no prices on the'secret' menu so we where just blind on that.
When the food came, it was very small portions, for such high prices. The food wasn't terrible but the price doesn't justify the portion size
I would only go here for drinks never to eat again.View more

The waitress got everything wrong. The short rib was cold, they forgot my pasta & received a cappuccino instead of my drink. We received potatoes when we never ordered them...The worst part is that it wasn't even busy & she screwed up that bad...not impressed.View more

10/10. I usually don't give 100% but this place hit on all cylinders. The service was top notch the moment I exited the elevator. The food was more appetizers but they explain that from the get go, I ordered 5 of them & it was more than enough along with the short rib. Drinks were very well done & the atmosphere was unique. Never experienced anything like this in Montreal.View more

Le staff 🫶🏻 définitivement 5 étoiles ⭐️ + Barman, Mme à l'accueil en bas & manteau & à la sortie de l'ascenseur, Basil aux tables très bon service. Les drinks son bon malgré le prix mais il faut s'y attendre dans un emplacement du genre. Ma déception totale était la nourriture. Mini assiette à partager de carottes & radis, salade horrible, canard 🦆 vraiment pas bon, la pieuvre +/- bon. Facture 2 personnes 5 drinks 320$ C'est le 80$/personne pour la qualité & quantité de nourriture que je digère mal.View more

Never had the food menu but I always go for drinks . The service is top & they have a nice variety of cocktails. Decoration well done , even if it's full you still have some space , it's not all pack too close together. Love love loveView more

La cuisine était correcte tout au plus. Je ne vous recommande vraiment pas d'aller souper là, pour 150$ pour les plats & un drink, vous pouvez avoir beaucoup beaucoup mieux en termes de qualité prix. Le service était beaucoup trop rapide entre les plats, même pas le temps de discuter. La musique était trop forte, pas capable d'avoir une discussion avec les 5 autres convives autour de la table. C'est un endroit pour aller prendre un verre & non pour aller souper.View more

People are very kind & know their menu, the composition of the menu, the price doesn't make any sense, the quality offered or taste offered don't justify the price, the highlights of my night were the Paloma (I loved it) & the Dauphin fries. I would never come back to eat there, maybe a drink. I was still hungry after I ordered 3 different plates.View more

Amazing service, amazing atmosphere, great music. This is a perfect place for a date or a small gathering. The vibe is simply amazing. Food is a bit expensive for the portion & not so tasty, drinks are fine. I would say this place is really amazing for the vybe with a drink, for that it gets a 4, even if the food is not as nice. I went to this place as a recommendation. The place looks really nice! When you exit the elevator, you are greeted by a nice corridor full of mirrors & everything is clean. Staff looks great too, I love the white dress color as we are used to see black everywhere nowadays. The hostess took my coat & hung it for me which was appreciated. We then had the option to sit at a table or the "terrasse", which is not an actual terasse but has some interesting views. Personally, the views were okay but other clients were taking selfies & pictures so maybe I'm just weird or I just ain't in all them tiktok fads. Anyways, we sat down & looked at the menus. The chairs at the terrace are very small & low to the ground. I'm 6'2" & after 20 mins, my legs started to cramp & ache, I had to stretch a bit. I could have asked to be re-seated inside but I was able to tolerate it. Menu was extremely, & too simplistic. We had so many questions that me & my wife found it funny how people can understand exactly what they are ordering.. We tried some cocktails which were delicious & then we were left to ourselves.. we waited 40 mins & the waiter never came to ask us if we wanted food. At one point the hostess came to ask if she could take our menus to which we replied they never took our order. Instead of getting the waiter, she looked at us with a strange glare that my wife still talks about today & said : "Well why aren't you waiving him down?" Sorry, but I'm not used to having to run at my waiters & ask them if they can wait on me, especially not at an upscale restaurant like this. So that put a cold in our evening. We ended up flagging the waiter, he answered all our questions on the menu & food came at a good pace, so at least that made things balance out. We really enjoyed the food, everything was tasty, tostada, labneh. I also ordered the tartare which I thought was the least interesting dish that we ordered. After our meal, we decided to leave instead of having dessert since some of our interactions were less than pleasurable. We took 6 plates & we were both still hungry. Cost us about 190$ with drinks taxes & tip. We decided we probably won't be going back anytime soon. Paying that amount of money, not feeling full at the end & with some attitude from the staff, we plan to take our money elsewhere next time. I still give it 4 stars because food was really great & I loved the atmosphere. Had I taken a normal table, my legs wouldn't have cramped up so that's on me & not the restaurant.View more
