The food was very solid overall. I really enjoyed the fish & chips, the batter was light, the fish was crispy on the outside yet soft inside & they came out piping hot, so be careful. The fries were seasoned well & perfectly crispy. The calamari was also fresh & nicely fried, not chewy at all. There were a lot of tentacles & I would've preferred more rings but the portion was still generous & tasty. The bread pudding was amazing & perfectly hot, sweet, & comforting & their vanilla ice cream was incredibly creamy & delicious. Overall, a great experience.
Celebrated my husband's 90th Birthday there last night with family & friends & the food was outstanding & very generous portions appitizers were delicious & a lot of variety to chose from .& they make excellent drinks 🍸 😋
The waitress was kind friendly helpful & a complete delight !
The owner was so friendly cane out if his way to extend his birthday wishes yo my husband & was right there to be helpful in any way he could.
So this restaurant really deserves a 10 star rating 🤔 😳 😅 thank you for making this occasion so special 💗
Elixor's ambience is low-key elegance, with its high ceilings & a dining area filled with cushy booths. The menu is a booklet of dishes from across North American, Mexico, & Asia. It took awhile for our party to decide what to order. A couple of us had sandwiches; the rest had various chicken plates, Thai, New Orleans, & Mexican. I found the prices high for the plates, reasonable for the sandwiches. That said, everything was very nicely presented & generously portioned. Service was excellent, especially considering it was a Saturday night with lots of semi-large groups. Reservations can be done online quickly & easily. Good experience, good food & service, just be prepared to spend a few more dollars than you would at the restaurants next door.
Friendly staff & spacious place. Good price & delicious food. Kids menu for under 12yrs old is very generous. DDO branch is less crowded than the Laval one Indochine salad is amazing as usual!
Had lunch at Elixor. We ordered the New Orleans chicken pasta & Maui Salad, both were very generous portions. Tasty meal with quick service. Would recommend. Extensive menu.
Went for supper, group of 3, as part of celebrating my wife's 65th birthday, this is a favourite place or hers. Because the portions are so generous we have never actually been able to order dessert but since my wife absolutely wanted to try the carrot cake (which was worth it!!) we ordered lighter by taking the VIP sampler of 4 appetizers that is good for 4 people. All appetizers (avocado rolls; chicken crispers; spinach dip & calamari) were good but we left some to take home. The lentil soup I had to start was excellent, as the soups generally are at Elixor.
They were accommodating for zero alcohol drink options (daiquiris & Heineken Zero). The only thing they could improve is for the cappuccinos we ordered, we were not asked if a cinnamon sprinkle was okay but we prefer chocolate sprinkle. Also my wife's decaf cappuccino was not good but my full-caf was good.
Service was excellent, they took care of us very efficiently & were happy to replace the cappuccino with the proper sprinkle option! We will return again.

We were recommended to come to Elixor by a family member & can't say we're disappointed. The service along with the food we ordered ( steaks ) were amazing. Portions were generous as well. This is the first restaurant we've been to that has had such great service & the food equally great. We'll definitely be coming back for future dates!
Antoine was our server & he did an excellent job! We were 6 & everything arrived nice & hot. We tried the VIP platter of appetizers for 4 & we were 6. It was plenty & a nice selection! The Burrito Mojado, ribs & chicken crema were delicious & the kids were happy with their pizzas. Only negative comment is that the piri-piri chicken could have had a bit more heat to it...I like it much more spicy. Portions were quite generous & we wound up bringing leftovers home. The kids enjoyed their milkshakes, sundaes & cheesecake. Even the house coffee was very good! This was a special treat for our family as we celebrated my daughters birthday. All went well even for the emotional support service dog that accompanies my granddaughter wherever she goes.
We were a party of five on Saturday evening. We all ordered something different, the food was excellent, the portions were very generous, the person who served our table was wonderful & even had a great sense of humour. On top of all that the price was reasonable. One of the few restaurants we go to that I have no complaints only compliments.
We had a great dinner at Elixor. The service was great. The food delicious & the portions huge. I ordered something that hasn't been on the menu in two years, but they still made it for me. Even my husband & son took some leftovers home in order to have room for dessert. Their dessert portions are equally generous. One of our favorite family places to eat!
