Funghi pizza is a must try, it’s delicious! Hard to get a seat here unless you reserve a spot in advanceView more
Delish! We did the “share” menu as there was a lot of us. It was a good way to try a lot of the dishes, however there was just enough food for everyone. Could’ve eaten a bit more but it was all really good!View more
We visited Elena for a Saturday night dinner on a trip to Montreal from the US. This restaurant had an upscale vibe but the prices were quite reasonable. Bilingual staff were wonderful, quick to accommodate our party of six & to offer menu & wine recommendations.
The food was delicious, high quality, & expertly prepared & garnished. The pizzas are a bit larger than "personal sized" & we shared four between our group plus appetizers.
Excellent service, fantastic food, & great atmosphere. Highly recommended & we can't wait to return.View more
Love this place, I come almost every week, by far the best pizza in the city & more.View more
The fried risotto was amazing. The red wine pasta was good as well. The fungy pizza was good too. Nothing amazing I’d give 4 stars. The spot is really nice though.View more

Visited Restaurant Elena (specialty pizza) on Dec. 13, ordered Proseco & was given Champagne by our waitress Ann. We were not told they did not have Proseco. Realized once at home we were charged $160 for Champagne which was not even on their menu. Called the restaurant that same night & left a message for the manager. Elizabeth the manager called back the next day. She was not very polite or supportive, I therefore asked to speak with the owner Ryan Gray from Nora Gray & new restaurant Gia in Montreal. Elizabeth left a message later that day offering a refund of $85 plus $17 tip on the bottle. I accepted the offer. After several calls since the offer, no one has returned any calls NOR have I received any refund to date (Dec. 29). You would think customer service is important however, clearly it is not when the MANAGER & OWNER himself doesn't care to return their calls or keep their word. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!
Made reservations with friends, constantly being told by staff to hurry up & eat because they had another reservation for our table.
Food is pretty good but would never go back with the awful attitude from staff.
Belle carte des vins & le service est toujours top! À essayer absoluement.
Incredible wine list, knowledgeable staff, super tasty pizza.
This restaurant was a complete disappointment. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated, even though we had a reservation. What was worse was that when finally seated, the hostess sat the three (3) of us at a table for (2). One of us had to sit at the end of the table like a child in a high-chair. When we complained, there was no apology. The hosting staff leaves a lot to be desired. Our waitress, however, made up for the bad hosting service & was superb. The table was far too small for a group of three, causing food to fall around the table. The suppli were good, but the remainder of the food was sub-par. The cavatelli pasta dish was oily & overly salty. The tagliatelle were fine, but again, nothing special. There are plenty of better options for good Italian fare in Montreal.
I loved my first meal, I've already been back twice! First visit was with a party of four so we were able to sample a larger selection. Incredible pizza oven produces many delights; I've had Mushroom, Margharita & White pizzas = delish! The second visit we kept it down to just the one White pizza & we ordered the Nocco Fritto appetizer & shared a Pasta Verde as well. I enjoyed a glass of orange wine. There was a special dessert that evening called the Financier (named after it's popular shape resembling a gold bar!) Staff is super knowledgable & friendly. Comfortable seating; love the space & decor. Not your regular pizzeria but personally, I might be on MY way to becoming a regular!
Elena is truly a welcomed addition to the neighbourhood! The pizzas are fantastic! We had a great experience- the food, the wine, the staff & overall atmosphere of the space, all wonderful! Elena's is a great spot for a dinner or even just a bite at their bar.
The music is so loud for a restaurant! It was so frustrating as my girlfriend & I really wanted to catch up over a good dinner but we could not even hear each other. I guess this is the way the restaurant ensures a fast turnover of customers but it does not make for a pleasant experience! They do have a really interesting wine list & an interesting menu. The food was a bit bland but overall still quite good.
