We tried the quesadilla chicken, it did not come with any salsa or guacamole. It was a bit dry , pulled boiled chicken & cheese with mushrooms
The cochinita tacos was surprisingly good
I have had better birria taco, but it was acceptable
The steak taco was ok

Excellent restaurant Mexicain, un vrai voyage au Mexique nous étions 3 personnes & avons partagé nos plats, assiette de tacos Birria fait avec du porc effiloché, assiette de Fajitas aux poulets & assiette de Pambazo genre de hamburger mexicain maison, c'est ultra délicieux. Le personnel semble majoritairement Mexicain c'est très agréable, on se croirait en vacances ailleurs. La serveuse était très gentille & très agréable qui nous expliquait très bien avec son accent, nous avons aussi consommé 4 Margarita classique servi par le barman, rien à voir avec les resto qui servent cela avec de la slush. Pour les personnes qui chialent que le personnel ne parle pas bien français, vous avez juste à penser que vous êtes en voyage & que le personnel s'efforce beaucoup, je trouve que c'est une belle intégration. Je recommande pour la nourriture & l'expérience, j'y retournerai un vendredi où un samedi soir pour les soirées animées avec chanteur, ambiance musicale mexicaine.View more
Tríes for first time today for lunch, was the first one was warmly received & got attended right away. Got explained the menu & the special is the day. I decided to go for the Al Pastor tacos, no much time longer I got a nice plate presentation, they come with a big Pineapple chunk :) & very good size tacos along with 3 type of hot sauces. The tacos were delicious & so the hot sauces, very satisfied with the choice I made, quality of food & service. Definitely I'll be coming back to try the Birria tacos & other items on the menu.View more

Première expérience à ce restaurant, c'était délicieux! Nous avons pris 2 margeritas mangues dont 1 épicé, c'était très bon. Nous avons partagé les tacos al pastor & des tacos au boeuf (birria). Les deux etaient excellents. Le service etait impeccable. On recommande!View more
I recently visited El Patrón with my husband & we were both extremely satisfied with the food & service! Being a native Mexican myself, I was amazed by the authenticity of the dishes... everything from the birria tacos & "consomé" (broth), to the pambazos, guacamole, salsas & sweet bread was DELICIOUS. The warm service & flavours transported me back home & I will for sure be coming back soon, & often! 😄View more
Great food, service & amazing atmosphere. I went on a saturday evening around 8PM & there was a live singer (seems to be there fridays & saturdays from 7-10PM) who was very entertaining. In terms of food, very delicious & for some reason their seasoning was amazing that any food that I ordered complemented each other & I ended up eating a lot! Ate pozole rojo, tacos birria (comes with fries or salad, took the salad & it complements the tacos very well), horchata & tried the sopa de tortilla (spicier than what I've tried before but still great!), tacos cochinita pibil & the flautas. With all of that, 3 different sauces from mild to spicy, all tasting great. I would definitely come back again to keep trying the whole menu. A jewel to have in Laval!View more
