Went here two or three years ago when visiting Canada for the first time. Ordered the Transparente & god it was so good I went back again on my short trip & ordered that & another pasta just so I could try it lol. Delicious although I could've used an extra portion of noodles to balance out the extreme flavor, but that's just me. I'm the type of person who eats a bite of food & then drinks half a glass of water or eats three bites of base anyway. Literally the best pasta I've ever had including in Italy. I still think about it lol & if I ever come back to Montreal I will absolutely be stopping here.

This restaurant has the best pasta. The flavors are rich, fresh, & perfectly balanced. The pasta is cooked to perfection every time, & the sauces taste homemade & authentic.

Terrible ! They used to be great. I don't know what happened, I ordered the carbonara pasta which they don't have anymore in their menu but I personalized it & it's the most watery sauce I've ever gotten, all the flavor & creaminess GONE ! Don't go here if you want to save yourself from the worst food, you're better off cooking it yourself or going to Moretti, they have great pasta.

This place offers great portions for the price. I usually order the same pasta flavor, but it's really tasty.

The flavor is pleasant, & the atmosphere is okay, although I usually order delivery rather than eat there. But if you're in the area & want to save money while eating well, this could be a good option.

Two people can share just one portion of pasta.

My first day in Canada & I was craving something familiar so I decided to get some bolognese. Very cozy inside, but it was ridiculously hot inside the building.

The cute lady that took my order was kind enough to open the door & give me a water. & the food was delicious, ended up eating the whole thing which was a good portion. Tons of flavor, & noodles were cooked well.

If I lived in Canada, I would definitely come here again. Would have to order takeout though haha.

El Pastaman is an absolute gem! I had the Rosa Pasta & a cheese pizza, & both were phenomenal. The Rosa Pasta was rich, creamy, & perfectly balanced with a hint of zest, while the cheese pizza had the perfect crispy crust & a deliciously cheese blend. The flavors were fresh, the portions generous, & the service top-notch. The cozy atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. If you're looking for amazing Italian food, El Pastaman is a must-visit I'll definitely be coming back!

From the moment we decided to give this spot a try, everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. Whether you're a fan of authentic Italian cuisine or simply looking for a cozy, satisfying meal, El Pastaman is guaranteed to impress. We ordered two classic dishes-Alfredo pasta & Carbonara-& both were absolutely divine. The Alfredo pasta was creamy, rich, & perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sauce coating the fresh, perfectly cooked pasta. The flavors were indulgent yet comforting, a hallmark of great Italian cooking. On the other hand, the Carbonara was equally amazing, with a deliciously creamy texture & a rich, smoky flavor from the pancetta that elevated the dish to another level. Every bite was a reminder of why classic Italian dishes never go out of style. The portions were more than generous, which made the experience even better. For the price, the quantity & quality were exceptional, making it one of the best value-for-money meals I've had in a long time. Despite being a takeout order, the food was well-packaged & retained its freshness & flavor by the time we got home. One of the standout moments of the experience was the incredible customer service. The staff were welcoming & went out of their way to make us feel special. The person who handled our order was genuinely kind & thoughtful, even surprising us with a complimentary tiramisu. It's rare to find such gestures these days, & it truly made the experience memorable. Speaking of the tiramisu, it was absolutely perfect. You could tell it was made fresh & with authentic ingredients. The layers of mascarpone, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, & cocoa were beautifully balanced, & the dessert wasn't overly sweet-just the way it should be. It had a unique flavor profile that felt traditional yet special, showcasing the skill & care that El Pastaman puts into its food. To top it off, the meal came with freshly baked bread that paired wonderfully with the pasta & added an extra layer of satisfaction to the meal. We enjoyed every single aspect of our takeout order, from the savory pasta to the sweet tiramisu. El Pastaman is more than just a restaurant-it's an experience that embodies the heart & soul of Italian cuisine. The combination of incredible food, generous portions, & outstanding customer service makes this a place you'll want to return to again & again. I already know I'll be back the next time I'm in Montreal, & I'll be recommending it to everyone I know. I recently dined at El Pastaman (El Pizzeria) restaurant & had an excellent experience. We ordered three pizza: Dicaprio, Polo, & Carne plus dip & fries. All of them were absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, & the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. I especially appreciated that they do not use frozen prepared meat & chickens; everything is made from scratch with fresh food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm & inviting, making for a perfect dining experience. I highly recommend El Pastaman (El Pizzeria) Restaurant to anyone looking for great food & a pleasant ambiance. I'll definitely be coming back! ---
