Mr. Victor Lopez and his wife Elena Garcia welcomes you at El Meson! This authentic Mexican restaurant located just across the Lachine Canal, in an old brick house in Old Lachine welcomes you in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It is already several years that this Mexican gem serves its secret family recipes. They started timidly years ago in Dorval for those who remember, and it is through satisfied customers that this Mexican restaurant has made a name for itself and today El Meson ranks among the best Latin restaurants in Montreal.

i went there for new year night with my boyfriend. the staff were very friendly, the food tasted amazing & overall very pleasing experience. the cappuccino we ordered tasted amazing & had lovely aroma. even though the coffee we ordered was almost at their closing time (around 9.30 pm. we didnt know their closing time) not even for one second they made us feel we have to rush out.View more

We heard about it from quite a distance & went there. The staff was very kind & attentive & welcomed us. The guacamole that came out first was enough to surprise all five of us as soon as we ate it. It was so delicious!! & we each ordered a different menu & were all satisfied. I want to come back again in a different season.View more
