Si tu veut partir sur la brosse avec tes chums pis chiller avec les serveuses. C'est l'endroit idéal. La bouffe est super bonne mais dispendieuse pour une petite quantité. N'y va pas si c'est pour une date avec ta blonde tu va détester ton expérience. L'ambiance donne l'impression d'être dans un bar quartier gérer par des enfants sur la brosse. C'est triste parce que l'endroit est super visuellement. Une gestions des maringouins à l'extérieur serait de mise.
Great service, nice music, good cocktails. We stopped here just as a random pick on the road, but we were really impressed with the yummy food & cocktails. The Sunday menu is a set menu tapas style, highly recommended 👌

Mes attentes était haute pour ce restaurant qui semblerait t'il serait bien réputé. Très déçu de notre repas. Premièrement entre l'entrée & le repas principale nous avons attendu 45 minutes. J'ai pris les 3 tacos pescado & lorsqu'on m'a servi mon assiette j'ai tout de suite chercher où était le flétan. Très minuscule portion & pas mis en avant plan... cacher en dessous du chou. Aucune saveur particulière.... C'était assez décevant.
La nourriture est excellente & l'ambiance est agréable, mais malheureusement la qualité du service est décevante. Un vendredi soir de mai, en plus d'attendre pour entrer, nous avons attendu une heure avant d'avoir notre entrée & une autre heure avant d'avoir notre repas principal. Aucune excuse ni explication ne nous ont été données. Avec la vaste offre de restaurants dans la région, nous ne prendrons pas la chance de gâcher une autre sortie de couple. Dommage.
This restaurant has its good & bad. First of all, the margaritas are excellents! Sadly, the service is very bad. It takes so long to be welcomed, to order & to get the orders. (That was our experience, but the people next to us arrived after us & got everything so quick, they left before we had our meals. *we ordered tacos, just like them*) maybe they were the lucky ones or they were regulars... The food has a lack of flavor. It's not bad, but it's not "wow". They could use more spices & tastiness. It is totally overpriced for what it is. The restaurant is very nice & well decorated. It is nice to look around & discover all the cute things everything. They have nice merch. Overall, I would not recommend.

Nice décor, good margaritas, decent food. Honestly, though, I did a little warm/stuffy inside, so much so that we cut our dinner short. Tacos are OK, but there's better Mexican restaurants around. I find it very pricey for what you get. 140 bucks for some tacos, salsa & chips, & a couple drinks...Seems a little extra extra.
Peut etre suis je dans les patates, mais payer un peu plus de 4 fois le prix dune bouteille, ca me semble cher. Tout ce qui touche la déco est superbe :) Notre serveuse était tres gentille & on n'a manqué de rien Jetais décue quil ny ai pas de soupe, mais jai pris un tapas à 22$ qui etait délicieux...mais minuscule. Qqn avac un appétit normal en mangerait certainement 3 ou 4
Belle découverte pour moi sans devoir aller à Montréal pour retrouver les goûts traditionnels de la cuisine mexicaine. Que dire des cocktails 🤤🙌🏼 ils sont DÉLICIEUX!! Il en a autant pour les goûts salés que ceux plus sucrés. J'y suis allée un mardi où il y a la promotion tacos à 5$. Je m'étais dit que la qualité/quantité y serait peut être diminuée mais aucunement!! Je recommande à qui aime bien la cuisine authentique du Mexique, d'y aller rapidement 🌮 💚🤍❤️
Honestly the best Tacos I've had this far. We got shrimp, chicken, pork & beef tacos, my personal favorite was the pork (Al pastor). Took a while which makes me think that everything is prepared from scratch. It's also located next to the river, & in the summer you can sit outside. & on Tuesdays their Tacos are $5 each, perfect for if you want to give them all a try
J'ai vraiment adoré. Je pensais au début que c'était juste de la cuisine épicée. & bien non. La nourriture était très bonne. & les cocktails j'en ai jamais bu des aussi bons. Le service était très bien. & oui je vais y retourner assurément 😉
We came here before the renovations & new menu which at that time the food & atmosphere was already good but I must say that you have outdone yourselves! The place looks even better; the colors & decorations are beautiful & relaxing along with the Mexican music in the background. We are transported to Mexico without leaving here! Your new menu is even more delicious & we like the new choices. We are for sure returning & bringing the family too! Wishing you a continued success! See you again!
IDK what happened this time but the pirata cocktail that I always take at this place was not so great, the taste wasn't balanced. My wife's drink wasn't prepared well as well & when she told that to the waitress she started to convince us that this is okay, we returned it & asked to redo, food was so-so beef tacos were great but the chicken shrimp wasn't, chicken was overcooked & dry. We ended up with a 125$ bill without tips for two people. At the end this was great evening, will come back to El Cactus 😜
Second time there & loved the experience! Food is authentic & so delicious. Prices are reasonable. Friendly service. Place is soo well decorated & quaint. Highly recommend ❤️ Lisa
