Food quality issues. The vegetarian casserole had a soup texture & was undercooked at the same time (cheese not melted). This really made me feel nauseous so I no longer had an appetite. I mentioned it to the waiter when I asked for the bill, they removed 10% from the bill & asked I say something sooner if ever it happens again.
A chef needs to be hired & revise the ingredients. Issue with this dish surpasses it being undercooked.
Friendly staff & the atmosphere is super cute.View more
My partner & I decided to have a romantic breakfast date.
The ambiance was perfect - it was not too busy, creating a lovely atmosphere.
Now, when it comes to the service, it was a bit of a mixed bag. Our orders were taken quickly, & the food arrived promptly. However, it would have been nice if our server had checked in on us to ask how we were doing & if we were enjoying our meal. That personal touch was missing, but it didn’t overshadow the overall experience.
I ordered the Eggs Benedictine, & my boyfriend opted for the scrambled eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked, & we both enjoyed them. However, the one downside was the salmon, which was excessively salty, making it challenging to finish. That was a bit disappointing considering the overall quality of the meal.
On a brighter note, we tried the homemade kiwi juice, & it was a delightful surprise. The juice was not only delicious but also a refreshing departure from the usual offerings. It’s evident that they put thought into their beverages.
In summary, our romantic breakfast date had its ups & downs. The restaurant’s ambiance & the quality of the eggs were highlights, but the overly salty salmon & the lack of personal interaction from our server left room for improvement. Nevertheless, the homemade kiwi juice was a standout, & we left with a mix of positive & constructive feedback.View more
