The French version of Denny's. My partner & I enjoyed our food: omlette & eggs over easy with herbal tea & toast. The waitress spoke English. But I always feel guilty when I don't use my high school French. So I asked for something in French & the server said that I spoke'good French.' It made my day. Five years of French classes were not in vain. Lol.
Mon copain & moi nous allons à chaque fin de semaine à ce Eggsqui & je ris en lisant les commentaires des gens qui ont mis une étoile, parce que je n'ai jamais eu un aussi bon service qu'à cette place là (Si je compare à celui des autres aux alentours).
Il m'est déjà arrivé d'avoir quelque chose de pas correct dans ma commande & on me l'a jamais chargé ou on me l'a remplacé. Les serveuses sont à l'écoute.
Manon P & Alexe sont très gentilles, nous passent toujours le bonjour même si nous ne sommes pas à leurs tables. Elles se souviennent tout le temps de nos extras, c'est cute & nous donne envie de revenir à ce resto.
Les jeunes ont l'air d'avoir du fun aussi en travaillant, ce qui est rare en restauration... ça en dit déjà long sur l'ambiance :)
Ce matin, lors de ma visite au restaurant Eggsquis de Greenfield Park, j'ai malheureusement vécu une situation très désagréable. Par accident, une tasse complète de café chaud a été renversée sur moi, tachant mes vêtements ainsi que mon manteau. Je comprends tout à fait qu'un accident peut arriver & je suis demeurée calme & respectueuse tout au long de l'incident.
Cependant, ce qui m'a profondément déçue est l'absence totale de considération de la part du propriétaire lorsque j'ai demandé, très poliment, s'il était possible d'avoir un petit geste commercial, un café offert, un crédit ou toute autre forme de compensation symbolique. La réponse du propriétaire Kosta a simplement été : « Ce sont des choses qui arrivent. »
Oui, les accidents arrivent, mais le service à la clientèle se mesure surtout dans la façon dont on choisit de réagir après. Un simple geste d'empathie aurait fait toute la différence. Malheureusement, je suis repartie avec des vêtements tachés & un goût amer face au manque de courtoisie & de professionnalisme démontré.

très mauvaise expérience chez Eggsquis Greenfield Park. J'ai commandé un Sherbrooke avec saucisse & fève au lard je recois mon assiette 15 minutes après & surprise oeuf tiède ,saucisse tiède fève au lard tiède & ananas pas mangeable en fait dégelasse & même chose pour ma conjointe pour un montant de $32,00 que nous n'avons pas manger, Dernière visite a ce restaurant
First of all , the service is excellent.This incl. accessibility, as one in our group is mobility-reduced. Sad to say, then multiple other places in the proximity still,decades into the 3rd Millennium, do get away with indirect discrimination against such group, by i.e. not having an inexpensive wooden wheelchair-accesible ramp. Staff professionally helpful, so the service is indeed deserved. - but we believe it is not specifically the service one goes to a breakfast place to get,& Eggsquis is a sorry excuse rel. to that overwhelming important breakfast joy. The plate arrives lukewarm at best, the eggs were cold just after the short time it took to butter the toasts;furthermore, the butter didn't melt because the toast were already cold.
The all-important coffee was so bad, that one in our group put the cup away & ordered an espresso instead. Too bad,as this''better coffee'' tasted like a concentrated version of the sorry ''Excuse'' for any coffee to start with, 🙄 When asked for their brand, the waitress said it was exclusive to the restaurant & is not sold in anywhere else. Though the bill was exorbitant, we left relieved - No chance to buy it by mistake.😁
