Good options & the atmosphere is nice with outdoor seating, along with friendly staff.

I will say, being here twice for breakfast, both times the food just lacks flavor. Basic seasoning whilst cooking the eggs for example elevates the flavors vs putting them on after your meal is served. Apparently this is due to the griddle...OK, so use a pan or something else then?

Quite disappointing & eggspected more but, I'm glad I gave it a second try to confirm my experience.

Be sure to get there early, gets packed quick especially on a weekend. I ordered the florentine benny & it was incredible. Excellent Montréal breakfast, a must if you're in town!

Ranjan was amazing! Clearly a busy place but certainly still made us feel welcome & taken care of. Breakfast poutine & smoothies were the star for me!

Had a wonderful experience at Eggspectation in Montreal. The service was exceptional from start to finish - the staff was friendly, attentive, & genuinely focused on making sure everyone was comfortable & happy. We come to Montreal once a year & always make sure to come here for breakfast because the experience is consistently excellent. What truly stood out this time was the manager's attention to detail & customer care. Even though only the downstairs section was open, the manager knew that we enjoy sitting upstairs in the booths &, without hesitation, accommodated us. That level of hospitality & personal attention is rare to find these days. The food was excellent, the atmosphere welcoming, & the entire experience made us feel genuinely valued as customers. Highly recommend visiting when in Montreal
