Our goal is to maintain the highest possible standards of food quality and service in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. From breakfast to lunch to dinner, with family or friends, our wish is to make your visit an exceptional experience. We only take two things seriously: our food and service!
You'll have a tough time choosing between our exclusive dishes: crepes, soups, salads, omelettes, pasta, steak, chicken, seafood, sandwiches, or our famous Eggs Benedict and fresh squeezed orange juice! Freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients and attractively presented, our menu only has one flaw: you could eat too much!
Who says you should be crowded in a restaurant? At Eggspectation, we give you plenty of space in a warm and a welcoming ambiance, and you are always comfortably seated. Our upscale interior decor includes colourful murals, rustic cement columns, stone and brick walls, and an open kitchen. Private meeting rooms featuring a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi are available in some restaurants.

The serving staff are polite, considerate & friendly. Didn't have to wait to get a table. The washrooms/ toilets were clean & well stocked.
Their Menu was vast yet the food was delicious. Their smoothies were refreshing especially on a hot humid day. The serving staff would come & refill your water glasses with cold refreshing water voluntarily. Overall Nice place to have breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.View more

Eggspectation - Maisonneuve offers a solid breakfast & brunch experience with a wide variety of menu items to choose from. The portions were decent & satisfying, though not overly large. While the prices could be a bit more competitive, they're still fair for the quality & atmosphere. The staff were incredibly polite, well-dressed, & respectful, adding a professional yet friendly touch to the visit. The warm & welcoming environment made the overall experience very enjoyable. a new years day brunch with the family was a great way to spend some time together. 5 stars, we had no issues. all of the staff, Johanna esp, that we interacted with were great. from being advised to where to park the car, dining, then receiving the bill & leaving, all super people to deal with. food & drinks all great. i had the southwest sunrise omlette. not busy place 10am new years day but you could see that it has busy times. well maintained & clean place, we had a booth upstairs. there used to be an eggspectations on decarie, ruby foos, but no more so we had to drive downtown. got there in under 20 minutes from st laurent but it was new years day! we will return for sure.View more

I have been going to Eggspectation since I was a kid & I'm now in my 30s. They hands-down have the most generous portion sizes, the most consistent food quality, the most consistent service, & I've got to say also the best side fruit salad, like you can tell that this restaurant cares about its customers if you only look at the fruit salad. It's always fresh. They have berries in there. They usually have half a banana & then they have a bunch of other stuff. I think is a decent place for brunch. In my opinion it's a bit overpriced. The breakfast options while vast are all similar. Replacement of potatoes that are the main choice for everything is relatively expensive, making all breakfast options a little less light & very heavy. The day we went the potatoes were also under seasoned. So bland potatoes with your breakfast is a disappointment. To replace the potatoes it's 6$, kinda pricy if you simply prefer lighter side. Other than that options are min 20$. That's quite pricy for the portion & I want to say limited modifications allowance. I would not mind if I could change potatoes to a salad, but otherwise kinda a let down. Drinks are good. Coffee is good. Portion size okay. It's decent place for breakfast but if I'm honest I think there are better out there for the price. That being said, you will find something you would be satisfied with on the menu for sure. Hence 4 stars. The staff was kind. Due to being busy it just takes a little while for service. I'd recommend if it's your vibe.View more
