I don't like to give negative reviews but..I've had alot of smoked meat in my life...Nothing remotely special here...I've had better smoked meat in regular restaurants where the specialty is not even smoked meat. I dont know if i caught a bad brisket but the meat was way too salty fot my taste , & probably not steamed enough as it was chewy & not melt in your mouth stuff like it should be. You can find better on the Mtl south shore, Dunn's on Taschereau boulevard being one of them... I found it pricy too..cost me 30$ plus tip for a sandwich with fries, pickle & slaw. Slaw had a funky thyme taste to it & I didnt care for it either. The only reason you'd come here IMO is the easy parking & proximity to your home. You want good real good smoked meat, worth the detour , try Reuben's on St-Catherine street, Schwart'z , George's in Laval, Snowdon deli, Lester's deli & Smoked meat pete on west island, among others...
À chaque fois que je mange au Edward la nourriture est excellente, j'ai accès à un service à la cliente impeccable & l'ambiance est parfaite. Déjà hâte d'y retourner & de manger un bon sandwich.
