Eclipse Restaurant propose une expérience culinaire pratique et agréable avec une variété de plats bien préparés, incluant des options appréciées comme le steak, les calmars et la poitrine de porc. My fettuccini dish was mediocre at best. The sauce was ok, but the bits of pork were tough & often gristly.
It's the service that was lacking & frankly, arrogant. It destroyed any semblance of a dining'experience' that might have been had.
After being seated crispy, with three drink menus & a single food menu, we were abandoned. While I watched guests who arrived later being seated, having specials described & told the name of their server, we sat. We watched later arrivals receive water promptly & have their order recorded yet, we sat. When I finally got the attention of the guy who seated us & asked who & where our server was, he said'it's me' & began challenging my inquiry as to the delay in receiving any attention while other later arrivals were being served. No effort at making the situation better, just excuses about being'busy' (with fewer than 50% of tables occupied, & plenty of servers tending to those remaining), coupled an attitude of indignation over being questioned about the truly inhospitable lack of attention.
Eclipse is conveniently located if you're a guest in the hotel, period. The dining experience was by far the worst I've had this year.
It's a bit pricey here - as expected since it's a restaurant attached to a hotel - but I would say that it's a serviceable restaurant that has good beer on tap, & good food if you're willing to pay extra for the convenience.
I ordered the steak frites - medium rare, cooked to perfection with a perfectly paired peppercorn sauce. Washed it all down with a Molestar, then followed that up with a Blue Moon.
Service was great, sat at the bar so it was quick seating & service. Would come again.
We enjoyed dinner here while staying in the hotel awaiting our flight the next day. Not all airport hotel restaurants are created equal & this is a cut above the rest. We sat at the bar & received excellent service from Melanie. We had a couple of beers, then split the calamari as an appetizer & it was delicious, significantly better than most. I had a burger with fries, both were excellent. My husband had the nachos, they were plentiful but just ok in the flavor department. Fortunately he could finish my burger & fries;).

Quick lunch at the Sheraton hotel restaurant. The booth was large & spacious, service was good & pretty fast to get the food. No reservation, showed up at 11:30am for lunch service. The restaurant got busy around lunch.
Close to the airport, convenience location.
The washrooms are in the hotel lobby, nice & clean.
Stayed here for one night for work. At at the hotel restaurant because where else can you go.. the food left something to be desired. I guess they were busy because my burger clearly sat under the heat lamp long enough to wilt the lettuce & dry the burger & bun..i've had fast food burgers that were better but at lesst the fries were good.... I ate it anyways because...whatever...so the food missed the mark for sure..but my server Albano was amazing & hustled like crazy..he was great.
We had a great supper at Eclipse! They had a kid menu, which was a huge bonus for our family's stay at the hotel. Richard was friendly & great with the service! You get a huge portion for your order as well. It is a bit pricey, so keep that in mind for when you stop in. All in all, it was a lovely experience!
If you stay at the Aloft hotel you can cross the street & eat at the Sheraton hotel. Comfortable seating booths & tables. Great wait staff. Smoked meat was very good, love the fries. The burger was good, but ask for medium or it may be well cooked. Still good though.
I was staying at the hotel with my brother & we went to get dinner. At first, it seemed like it was just busy. It took a while for our order to be taken. But when we saw people who were seated after us got served the same dish before us, it seemed that there was more going on. I'm not confident making any allegations of classism or racism, but I've never been in a situation before where it seemed plausible. We ended up waiting close at an hour altogether & then Wagyu burger was dry. Very disappointing & soured our experience with the hotel as well.
A great option, especially for a hotel restaurant. Friendly staff, beautiful outdoor seating area, & good food. The breakfast food was especially tasty.
The staff at Eclipse SAVED ME last weekend! After my flight was cancelled & I had to wait in line at the airport for HOURS, I checked into my hotel across the street, exhausted & starving. To my dismay, everything seemed to be closed...except for Eclipse. I ran over, arriving ~10 min before they closed. The host (I think his name was Mike) & bartender, Karl were absolute life savers. They let me order some food to go & a drink while I waited. I would usually never wander in just before close, but these were special circumstances, & I was so grateful they didn't give me grief about it. Plus, the best part was the food was great too! Even to go, the cavatelli was delicious!
