A true restaurant oasis in terms of quality, taste, value, friendliness & vibe. Our quick Lebanese lunch of fallafal & fries wound up being the highlite of our trip to Montreal, we are still talking about how I felt actual tingles up & down my spine biting into a perfect fallafal with distinct crunch, juicy tomatoes, marinated turnip & fresh mint leaves. This is truly the best shawarma I've ever had, & trust me I tried a lot. Chicken shawarma with no freaking tomatoes or cucumbers like in other places, everything inside is pickled like it should be. The garlic sauce is to die for, yet you can still kiss your girlfriend afterwards with no weird smells, if you know you know & just 9$ which is a steel in this economy!View more

As a frequent customer of Dunya, I've always enjoyed their delicious, authentic shawarma. However, my recent experience was disappointing. When I tried to order 10 sandwiches to pick up, I was told it was considered catering & couldn't be fulfilled on the spot. They also refused to accept an order of 4+ sandwiches in-store. If they can't handle such requests, they should reconsider their operations.View more

Went to try Dunya during the weekend & it was a blast. Their shawarma is the best in montreal. They serve it the authentic way. The fries were super crunchy. Everything was super fresh & the staff were very welcoming & accommodating. We were two people & we order 2 shawarmas each. & 1 was more than enough for a person. Generous portions. & the garlic sauce to sandwich ratio was perfect. Props to the team for not re-inventing the wheel & keeping the authentic Lebanese shawarma scene in montreal alive !View more

I tried falafel, beef, & chicken shawarma sandwiches. My personal favorite is falafel, followed by beef. The chicken is just okay for me because it has a strong garlic sauce, which makes it my least favorite. The usual waiting time for an order is 15-20 minutes. .View more

The shawerma chicken was great-juicy & flavorful-the meat was just okay. The falafel was disappointing, & the fries were bland. The real issue, though, was the staff & the wait-about 35 minutes! The staff was slow, disorganized, & seemed clueless about optimizing orders. At a point i was willing to hand them a 5$ to get a smile.View more

The guys at Dunia are doing it right! Their beef shawarma is to die for.. juicy tender, flavorful, & exactly how you expect it; Lebanon's best version of Shawarma. The chicken is excellent also & the felafel is very good but a tiny bit dense. It could use some lightness. It's a very nice lively vibe, & the service is excellent & the value for the food is amazing. I recommend everyone to try this gem of a place.View more
