Ça fait plusieurs années que j'y vais & c'est toujours délicieux! Service rapide & efficace. La nourriture est délicieuse, je recommande les latkas & la salade au poulet thaïe.

I enjoyed Dunns 50 years ago when Myer Dunn would stand outside the restaurant on St. Catherine's street & invite the bar crowd to stop in for coffee & cheesecake.
Now we go to Dunns on St Martin in Laval. Myer is long past, but the smoked meat is every bit as good as ever.
My go to meals is a large sandwich, medium fat, cole slaw, fries, black cherry soda, & of course... World famous strawberry cheesecake!
For sure, a meal to be ordered rarely with a nod to the waistline. For me, Dunns sandwich & cheesecake is Montreal! Highly recommend.

Le meilleur endroit pour manger un sandwich au smoked meat. La viande est vraiment savoureuse, le service est rapide & excellent. J'adore cet endroit, je le recommande fortement.

The food was excellent. We went to try some authentic poutine & we weren't disappointed. The portion sizes are massive. Our server basically ignored us after the food came though, when when we were finished & waiting for the bill. Other than that, great place to eat & would highly recommend the poutine.

Un ami nous y a emmené pour la première fois, moi qui adore le smoked meeting, j'aime en goûter a plusieurs endroit... Bon poir ma part la viande est bonne je donnerais un 8.9 sur 10... elle était un peu grasse comme je l'aime, peu goûteuse, je sentais pas les épices dans la viande mais c'était bon quand méme ! Il y avait beaucoup de monde quand nous y sommes allés, alors le service était un peu lent mais pas catastrophique. On aurait aimé avoir plus de service au table pour les choses à boire on en a manquer durant le repas malheureusement ! Sommes toute le resto a une ambiance année 60 c'est assez cool, les assiettes bien garnies & je recommande !

I cannot say enough good things about Dunn's. I live outside of Quebec, but every time I visit, I make it a priority to stop in for the most amazing smoked meat on the planet! In fact, everything on the menu is fantastic, including the desserts. The freshness of all the ingredients & the homemade recipes are truly scrumptious! I highly recommend it!

One of the best smoke meat spot in Laval the place is very cozy & gives that 90's vibes, with great food & the service is great. Highly recommended for smoke meat lovers

Initially I went for the smoked meat but the waitress didn't want to accommodate my need so no choice to take something else. Indeed, I asked to have only the smoked meat by the Lb in a plate without bread, fries etc but the waitress didn't accept & didn't even try to propose an alternative. She said that you could get Smoked meat by the Lb as it was only for takeout but not dine-in which is absolutely ridiculous & doesn't make sense. I took the hot dog which was 100% beef & a cheap option considering that I removed the bread & didn't touch the fries. Overall, nothing special & nothing wow so I don't think I will ever come back to this spot. This is also the reason why I didn't take any pictures or videos, not really worth the time.
For someone interested in their Smoked Meat, I don't really recommend the place since their menu is not flexible at all.

I had lunch at Dunn's Famous & I really enjoyed my meal, I took the "Super Combo Smoked Meat" & it was delicious! The staff were friendly & the service was quick to get our meal. Very clean & organized, great atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for great smoked meat.

It's not often I get an opportunity to visit Montreal. Had a business trip there this week, & only had time for one personal meal & I wanted good local smoked meat. A colleague out of our Montreal office recommended Dunn's as it was close to the hotel, & I have to say, I was beyond impressed with their service, & the quality of the Reuben we got. After a long flight from Calgary to Montreal, with a near three-hour delay, this was our first stop upon arrival & it was a fantastic welcome to Montreal. The meat was perfectly juicy with the right fattiness to complement the texture & flavours - incroyable! Not to mention a properly done coleslaw that I haven't had in a while. It was so good that before flying back to Calgary, I popped in en route to the airport to get two sandwiches to bring back to Calgary for my wife. The staff was very accommodating in deconstructing the sandwiches & packaging the meat separately to avoid the bread getting soggy. My wife was beyond ecstatic & thoroughly enjoyed the sandwiches when I arrived home. I promised her I would bring her to Dunn's in person whenever we find ourselves out east again, & it will for sure be the Laval location! Well done Team Dunn's. I can see why you've been in business since 1927! Merci beaucoup!

We went to Laval branch not in Montreal, we were a bit worried about speaking English to order, but it not problem at all. I was really eager to try Montreal smoked meat, & of course, we couldn't leave Montreal without having some poutine. When we weren't overly hungry, we decided to order poutine with smoked meat as one of our dishes. "Wow, it's so volumey!" I said when the server brought over the plate. The smoked meat was absolutely fantastic! The poutine was delicious too, but we noticed that mixing the two might not fully bring out their individual flavors. I recommend ordering them separately: smoked meat & poutine. The table setup was adorable, & the atmosphere was fantastic! Merci.

J'ai été agréablement surpris du restaurant! De l'intérieur comme de l'extérieur son style année 70s va vous charmer dès le premier coup d'oeil. À l'intérieur on peut y voir des belles photos laminées au mur de la chaîne de restaurant lorsqu'elle a débuté. J'ai reçu un excellent service & très rapide! J'ai même été surpris lorsque j'ai reçu mon assiette, je croyais qu'il s'était trompé de table tellement c'était rapide hahaha! La nourriture était excellente! Le restaurant offrent de très grosse portion même pour une personne comme moi qui est un bon mangeur... Si vous n'aviez qu'un seul plat à essayer, je vous recommande sans aucun doute le sandwich Reuben! L'un des meilleurs sandwich smooke-meat que j'ai eu l'occasion d'essayer 👌🏻

La nourriture est bonne, mais la poutine a toujours très peu de sauce. Ce n'est pas une poutine, mais des frites au smoked meat. C'est dommage. À chaque fois que je commande la poutine, il n'y a presque pas de sauce. Je recommande les burgers, mais pas la poutine.

Boff, je pense pas recommander labas, j'ai utilisé Uber eats pour une commande de fin de soirée & boff la nourriture m'a déçu, j'avais pris une poutine, 1èrement on dirait que les frites étais déjà prête depuis un bout, & il se sont surment dit ; oh avec un peux de sauce & du fromage on verra rien... mais WRONG!! Ça se voit & ca se goûte 😠 ensuite 10$ pour 8 petite ailes de poulet avec en coin une petite salade pas fraîche 😔😒 j'ai vraiment l'impression d'avoir perdu mon argent
