Our Specialties
High quality meats from the butcher to your plate & Italian specialties.
Du Boucher À La Table is widely celebrated as a standout destination in Saint-Léonard, known for its high-quality meats, fresh seafood, and authentic Italian flavors. Many diners appreciate the unique bring-your-own-wine concept and the rustic, welcoming atmosphere that makes it suitable for special occasions and group gatherings. While most guests praise the attentive service and skillful preparation of dishes like the ribsteak, mushroom risotto, and various tartares, some experiences are tempered by concerns regarding noise levels, menu presentation, the mandatory bottled water charge, and occasional inconsistencies in service pacing. Overall, the restaurant is frequently recommended for its culinary excellence and the passion behind its offerings, establishing itself as a favorite for those seeking a quality dining experience.
Nice BYOW place that offers fresh seafood & meat cuts. Service was nice & food was tasty. Beware, water is not tap water but bottled water (with a fee). Menu is always subject to change based on arrivals. We were served bread with olives & salami which was a nice surprise. Favorite part of dinner was probably the entrées- such as fried calamari, tuna tataki & grilled octopus, which were all super fresh. Main dishes were good but not the best. Personally really liked the seafood linguine. We also tried the ragu gnocchi, duck risotto, beef tomohawk & seabass. Nice experience overall!
I expected a lot more after reading the reviews... it is not only good food that makes a restaurant a great one. We liked the food but the not service! There was a waiter that was in training, he put the silverwear on the table which I do not like since I don't consider it to be desinfected... so I asked him not to put them on the table. I also asked for the knife to be changed since the one he brought was dirty. When he came back he put it on the table again & touched my fork with his bear hand & he put the knife on the table... this for me is a big NO NOOOOO! Not only is he contaminating the knife but also my fork!!!! To top all off someone called me the day after our visit to tell me the payment didn't go through. Had to go back to pay & the lady who did the transaction was rude! The waiters should be trained to know how to check if payments go through or not. The waiter that was in training gave us the list of desserts & he mentionned cheese cake, we asked what kind & he paused & thought & said he didn't remember so we waited & said we want to know what kind of cheese cake it was, he said he didn't remember & told my friend to take the ice cream instead because it was really good. We had to ask him to please find out what kind it was!!! Not at all the service customers deserve.

Party of 4, all of our glasses needed to be changed twice because of lipstick on them. Calamari is average grocery store bought quality. Beef & tuna tartares were flavourless. Rack of lamb was actually under cooked raw lamb chops without any seasoning. Beef short ribs was spectacular melt in your mouth tender. Chocolate brownie with ice cream was a layered pound cake with cheap butter cream center dipped in chocolate without any ice cream. We sent this back. Requested a pistachio tartufo instead which was a low grade ice cream made with artificial almond essence. Service was great but food was no where near the quality of the price demanded. Won't return.
