Review Summary

Dreamy is widely celebrated as a premier destination for coffee enthusiasts, offering an impressive variety of high-quality beans from numerous local roasters in a unique, industrial-style environment where roasting often takes place on-site. Visitors frequently praise the exceptional espresso drinks, fresh pastries such as scones and banana bread, and the welcoming atmosphere that is both pet and family friendly. While the location near the canal is considered a highlight for its scenic charm, feedback is mixed regarding service consistency, with some guests finding the staff incredibly helpful and others encountering colder interactions. Although some patrons note that drink sizes can feel small for the price and the environment can be quite noisy due to the production equipment, the shop remains a highly recommended spot for those seeking an immersive, specialty coffee experience.

There is a huge selection of freshly roasted coffee from various roasters in the region. From what I understand, they rent the facility to do their roasting, & then sell their beans here, as well as at their cafes. Naturally, the place smells amazing! I had an espresso & an Americano to go. Both were excellent. The biscuits/scones are the best I've had in a long time…especially the plain ones with fresh cream & jam. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable about all their products. The location is close to a path along the canal…a perfect stop during a bike ride or walk. Looking forward to my next visit!

Great place to buy specialty coffee beans. There's beans from a dozen local roasters.

Not exactly a quiet, relaxing place as there is roasting going on in the back, but it's very cool place to visit.

Over the years the place has gotten more crowded with all the surrounding businesses creeping up as of'Canal 2.0' takes over, Dreamy is a victim of it's own success.

Pro's:
- Pet's are welcome(wouldn't say legally admitted because you know, QC)
- Insane coffee selection
- You get to look at cool machines roasting coffee
- Good fenestration

Con's
- Spotty Wifi
- Can get noisy(to be expected with all the production going)
- Can get cold in the winter with the garage door is open for shipments
- Cups used to be consistently glass amber or DREAMY labeled mugs, now it's a bit of a wild mess(esp the pink ones that are made of some kind of composite material?)

I invite my friends who haven't been, but I wouldn't call this my regular go-to.
