Dreamy delivers high quality coffee with a pleasing blend of traditional espresso notes and a subtle, unique flavor, in a cozy, dog friendly setting with courteous staff and a welcoming vibe; the roasting room and colorful machines add to the experience, and a wide range of beans for different brewing methods is offered, including fruity new beans and beloved classics, with cortado and latte priced reasonably for quality; some visitors noted moments of language friction when a barista spoke English to a Francophone customer, while others praised the service and vibes; the place has grown busier as the canal area develops, becoming a victim of its own success, though many still call Dreamy a go-to spot for coffee and pastry, including excellent banana bread and ginger cookies; wifi can be spotty and the space can get noisy with production, temperature can drop when a garage door is open, and cups have shifted from amber glass to mixed materials.

Très bonne sélection de cafés 3ème vague en grain, petit choix de pâtisseries salées ou sucrées. Service sympa & courtois. Cafés a l'emporter savoureux !!

Café vraiment savoureux, pouvant être siroté entouré de la machinerie de torréfaction. Il s'agit d'une expérience super intéressante & immersive. La boutique offre plusieurs grains de café pour différents types de brewing.
Il y avait 3 types de grains de café offerts pour les boissons (un nouveau grain fruité incroyable qui goûte la cerise + leur grain classique + un décaf). Nous avons pris un cortado & un latte, tous deux à des prix raisonnables pour un produit de qualité!
Pour une quelconque raison la barista voulait juste me parler en anglais (je suis francophone), donc des points de moins pour ça.
Over the years the place has gotten more crowded with all the surrounding businesses creeping up as of'Canal 2.0' takes over, Dreamy is a victim of it's own success.

Con's
- Spotty Wifi
- Can get noisy(to be expected with all the production going)
- Can get cold in the winter with the garage door is open for shipments
- Cups used to be consistently glass amber or DREAMY labeled mugs, now it's a bit of a wild mess(esp the pink ones that are made of some kind of composite material?)
I invite my friends who haven't been, but I wouldn't call this my regular go-to.
I pick up my beans here every week & it's always been great - but today was very disappointing. The guy who served me was very rude. I bought two bags of beans & an Americano to go, & he didn't say a single word to me. He just handed me the card machine, then gave me my coffee without speaking, while chatting with his coworker about her vacation - nothing related to work. Very unprofessional. I won't be going back.
