Seems it was affected by Covid & they had to cutback . Went back after maybe 4- years :
Smaller portions , I had a dead mussel that tasted like manure, Waiter keep complaining about being annoyed with this job . Had a great experience the 3 times I went before that though

Amazing food, service & hospitality in this little corner of Portugal in Montréal! I'm originally from Montréal but moved permanently to Portugal. Douro is the favourite restaurant of my family members in Montréal. My first time at Douro Restaurant was 10 years ago & it's still a must-go every time I visit the city. They have a great menu & selection of top Portuguese wines. Our recent family lunch was once again delicious… tomato & fresh cheese salad, mackerel, sea bass, paelha, creme caramel, leite creme & pears poached in Port wine. It's good to see a Portuguese restaurant done so well outside of Portugal.

Super belle expérience. D'abord un service chaleureux, sympathique & attentionné. Mais surtout une bouffe savoureuse. On a essayé les croquettes de morue, le chouriço & le calmar grillé & tout était parfait. Je l'ajoute à mes favoris & j'y reviendrai avec plaisir!

Couldn't have been a more pleasurable evening. We were taken charge by the maître D from start to finish. All that was served was a pure delight & oh so delicious. Great experience indeed. Will be returning for sure.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. From the very professional staff to great vibe & ambiance. Great menu, love the tapas & the bread & soft cheese / olives served before the meal. the attention to details very appreciated !

Amazing Portuguese restaurant in Montreal wow. The quality of the food is amazing, our server was great, not too over bearing, knew his menu very well. The atmosphere & restaurant was beautiful too. One of my faves in the city!!! Definitely recommend!

First thing was ambience was nice when you came in. We had a beautiful table by the window. From the time we came in the service was excellent from the beginning till we left. Food from beginning till we finished was delicious from the starters , main course & right also to the desserts.
I would truly recommend this restaurant

Ayant mon bureau au C.V. De MTL ( PVM ) depuis plus de 35 ans & ayant mangé presque tous les midis au resto, tels que les défunts Guy & Dodo, La Rapierre, Le Mas des Oliviers, Hostaria Romana, l Actuel etc, je veux vous dire que j ai mangé ce midi, le meilleur foie de veau grillé de Ma Vie ! Il était parfait & les amateurs/connaisseurs save a quoi je réfère. Bravo & merci du Chef .

Le poisson du jour, loup de mer, ainsi que l'entrée de pieuvre ne goûtaient pas grand chose, ça manquait d'assaisonnement & il y avait trop d'huile. Par contre la pieuvre était très tendre & le carré d'agneau était excellent.
