Visited this place during the lunch time.
Definitely worth to mention a very welcoming staff. The service was great & all menu was available. We ordered steaks & chicken on charcoal. Desserts were also tasty.

First thing was ambience was nice when you came in. We had a beautiful table by the window. From the time we came in the service was excellent from the beginning till we left. Food from beginning till we finished was delicious from the starters , main course & right also to the desserts.
I would truly recommend this restaurant

My friends were there before & it was my first time & definitely would go back a be a regular!!!

Une collègue de travail, qui nous a fait découvrir son endroit préféré ! L'ambiance intime, l'accueille/service, repas: dont 3 choix spécial midi & la fameuse natas do céu en dessert, tout était no1! Pas de photos, mais en regardent les autres avis, c'est ce que j'ai vécu!

I've been coming to this restaurant for decades, & it remains one of the best-kept secrets for authentic Portuguese cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed with the same warmth & hospitality that has defined this place for years.

The menu is a perfect mix of traditional favorites & fresh seafood. My personal favorites are the following:
Entre: Mixed tapas & caldo verde soup
Main: The cataplana dish paired with a bottle of Mateus Rose wine.
Dessert: The natas do ceu (cream from heaven) with a bica.

What truly sets this place apart is the consistency. The flavors, the friendly service, & the cozy atmosphere. Whether it's a quiet dinner or a lively gathering with family & friends, this restaurant always delivers an experience that feels like home.

Decades later, I keep coming back-& I always will.

Belle adresse 100% Portugaise. Service impeccable & agréable. Nourriture excellente: magret, poisson, paella...& desserts sublimes. Carte des vins (du Douro-bons choix) à partir de 45$ la bouteille. 100aine de places environ. On y retourne!

What a Montreal treasure ! Having just returned from Portugal in September, we were thrilled to be introduced to this restaurant by friends. From the start, the service was friendly & helpful. We had the mixed tapas to start, & all 4 of us were entirely satisfied. The bread, olives & beans, & soft cheese accompaniment were quickly devoured. We chose the fish of the day (one fresh Icelandic cod & the other a branzino). Both fish were pan-fried in a light caper & butter, were delicious & moist, & came with mashed potatoes, & grilled vegetables. The men had the bitoque steak meal & the salted cod plate. The bitoque was amazingly tender with a sauce so reminiscent of those in Portugal. Dessert was fantastic carrot cake & the "heavenly dessert" (nata do céu), & with coffee, they were the perfect end to our meal. Prices were above normal but everything is fresh, plentiful, & delicious. It was our first time, but we are hoping to return again for more flavors of Portugal 🇵🇹.

Quelle belle soirée !
Nous sommes allé à ce restaurant pour mon anniversaire à la suggestion d'une amie portugaise.
Première observation: le resto est superbe.
Deuxièmement: tout le personnel est sympathique, attentionné & efficace. Plusieurs fois les patrons sont venus nous parler pour savoir si tout allait bien.
Troisièmement: tous les plats étaient délicieux! Le crème de poireau était à se rouler par terre ! La morue charbonnière, d'une saveur & d'une fraicheur incroyable. Le riz à la lotte sublime & la portion très généreuse. Les desserts sont divins.
Quatrièmement: beaucoup de choix autant pour les vins que pour les portos.
Finalement: j'ai hâte d'y retourner.
