Reviews consistently describe Dorsia as an elegant, high end restaurant with a refined atmosphere in Old Montreal, where the food is praised across courses from tartare to duck and seafood, and wine and cocktail selections are frequently highlighted. The service is consistently lauded as attentive, professional, and knowledgeable, helping diners feel pampered and well cared for, and the decor is often cited as sophisticated and welcoming, with a vibrant yet intimate vibe. Many reviewers regard the dining experience as memorable enough to warrant a Michelin level nod and say it is worth visiting for special occasions. A minority note occasional service delays or long waits between courses, and some dishes or portions are described as not as extraordinary as the price would suggest, but the overall sentiment remains highly positive. Overall, Dorsia is portrayed as a standout dining destination with top notch service, superb food quality, and a striking atmosphere that invites repeat visits.
Very pleasant & welcoming service from the whole staff.
Lobster ravioli, eel & four gras appetizer, & crudo, Maple Forest dessert, & chocolate dessert were all delicious & well presented. The rhubarb send-off dessert was also great.
I think a little more effort could have been put into the presentation of the cavatelli but it was a good portion at least & my friend seemed to enjoy it.
My aviation was a little more sour that it should be but when I mixed the bottom a bit, it wasn't bad. The wine recommendation was perfect.
Decor is gorgeous. Loved that the waiter confirmed that the name is an American Psycho reference. Great retro music. Played two of my favourite Madonna songs. Look forward to checking out their basement bar at some point.

Food was great. Service was incredible & our server was incredibly friendly & personable. One of the best old fashioned's I've ever had. Duck crown was definitely the highlight of the meal, although the rest of the food was still very good too. Tiramisu was also fantastic.
However, the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that we had an incredibly long wait for our entrees to come out. I understand that grand prix weekend is an incredibly busy time but maybe the restaurant needs to manage bookings accordingly... Maybe it should be harder to get a reservation at dorsia!
All in all I would absolutely return & recommend it.... Just maybe not during GP weekend!
Un sans faute: magnifique accueil, des plats délicieux, trés fins (les pâtes paccheri ), le tartare excellent, rapport qualité prix très attrayant; le dessert érablière est très original. De passage venant de Paris, une adresse à chérir quand je reviens. BRAVO
Everything was great sat at the bar, nice vibe & service. Left at midnight asked to go to speakeasy downstairs & they just say no... who the hell do you think you are to say no to 2 girls come down this is monteal no class this place
Food was outstanding & the service was impeccable. My dinner mate had a'Vesper' & exclaimed it was the best Martini & gentleman's drink he has ever had, right in line with 007's roots.
We had an early 6:15pm dinner seating, & enjoyed the quiet atmosphere one would expect in a fine dining establishment. By the time we departed at 9pm, the temp had picked up, was a bit noisier, & was slightly more in line with a gastro pub, but continuing with the fabulous food, & wonderful drinks. The Tenderloin steak & the lamb was tender & flavourable, but also exactly as our waiter had described. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu, & was able guide us amongst a plethora of wonderful choices.
For any occasion, Dorsia is a superb choice.

I spent $800 on dinner this evening for myself, my father & two kids. The fact that 50% of our party was not of legal drinking age will give you an idea of how much Dorsia charges for dinner. The steak was good… $240 for a 40 oz CDB. Octopus starter was well grilled & seasoned. Mark up on the wine was eye watering. Then, there was the bachelorette party taking place next to us. Cute, but makes you wonder what vibe they're going for at Dorsia. I think they want to appeal to splurgey American tourists who might squeal with delight (that actually did happen tonight!) when they realize how far their dollar goes!
Service was uneven…LONG waits between courses. The servers are young & moderately experienced. You can tell
because they don't have ascendancy over their customers.
The room is really beautiful. I'll give them that.
Lots of guys in ball caps & polo shirts & very young women. Nothing wrong with that if that's the vibe you're looking for. I will probably come back but not sure if it will be top of mind.
We celebrated our special anniversary at Dorsia. The ambiance & the food were both wonderful & the service was exceptional. Our waiter, Guillaume was absolute perfection & we truly enjoyed the entire evening thanks to him. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Premiere experience au Dorsia pour le brunch. Nous avons eu la chance d'être servis par Guillaume dont c'était la premiere journée en salle. Le service a été exceptionnel.
We came back to Dorsia for the second time - everything is just as perfect as we remembered. The atmosphere is stunning, the service is impeccable, & the food is top-level. The tartare is especially delicious - definitely a must-try. Highly recommend for a refined dining experience.
