Dorsia offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with attentive service and consistently high quality food. Across many visits the vibe ranges from elegant and refined to lively and modern, with a focus on presentation, inventive courses, and a strong wine program. Diners praise precise cooking, thoughtful pairings, and a menu that balances French and Italian influences with local ingredients. While most experiences are top tier, a few mentions of long waits, busy crowds, or mixed pacing during peak periods remind that the kitchen and floor can be stretched on busy nights. Overall the dining experience is described as special and memorable, making it a standout choice in Montreal and a likely destination for celebrations.
Un restaurant d'exception ! What a fabulous restaurant. The attention to details is remarkable. From the design which has a very Contemporary European feel to it, with high quality fabrics, material & design, to the Art Collection which has been curated as for an elegant home or an Art Gallery, to the choice of cutlery, china & glassware. All with a common trait of elegance, high quality & great design. Everything has been well thought out, including the music selection which was broadcasted throughout a great sound system. The food is creative, tasty & elegant without being fussy, is served with a team of professionals. I left the restaurant thinking, what a great time we had... a real treat & for those who appreciate high quality & attention to details, a feast for the soul.
Je suis venu en midi, menu table d'hôte abordable. Beau restaurant, personnelles gentilles & serviable. Présentation des assiettes sont jolies & la nourriture sont très bon aussi. C'était agréable.

The manager & his staff (receptionist, maitre d'hotel, waiters & chef) thanks to their warm welcome, professionalism & passion offered us a top-notch experience. The staff was always smiling & attentive to details. The chef & his brigade master their techniques & seasonings. The interior is elegant, sober & efficient where several tables are available with diffrent capacities (2,4,6... pax) spaced out reasonably. I recommend the Lamb Duo!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dorsia, & it was an unforgettable experience. We initially had a reservation at a table, but after meeting Lucas at the bar, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to stay there instead. The black bass & filet mignon were exceptional, & the drinks were crafted to perfection, making our conversation even better. A special thank you to Lucas for making the evening truly memorable. I'm already looking forward to returning the next time I'm in town.
This isn't my first time here, & it certainly won't be my last. The service is great, & each dish is beautifully presented, made with exquisite ingredients, & explained in detail by our waiter. The tables are spacious, allowing us to share meals & creating an intimate atmosphere at our table, which adds an extra touch of luxury to the place. You can feel the chemistry among the team, which makes the ambiance even more enjoyable. General Manager Amine welcomed us warmly, as always. I can't wait to go back!
Superbe nouveau restaurant!! Très délicieux, le décor est superbe & nous avons eu un très bon service! Ne manquez pas la table d'hôte jusqu'à 1er novembre le midi pour 25$ 😉
Seasonal ingredients, simple yet nicely balanced dishes.Great cocktails. Service & decor simply top- notch. Go to for your business & special events. They'll go above & beyond to give you the best experience possible.
The restaurant is trying, & the menu sounds inventive, but it didn't deliver on what it advertised. Not only was the serving of burrata meager, the tomatoes were mealy in texture & the dish should have been accompanied by some salt. The pasta special for the night was advertised as having maitake mushrooms, but I couldn't taste it. Moreover, the raviolis were garnished with thin slices of button mushrooms. This looked cheap, didn't add any flavor, & had no color charisma. The duck leg Cavalli didn't taste like duck at all! & the texture of the meat was like ground veal or pork In fact, I think it was one of those two meats. & there was insufficient micro basil on this dish. Very disappointing experience

This is a really beautiful new restaurant in Montreal. It's very pretty inside & the service is amazing. We went there to celebrate my friends graduation & they really took great care of us. Attention to detail is definitely their priority. I wasn't impressed with the food but the cocktails were delicious. If you're in the city, you should definitely give it s try!
Dorsia is a new restaurant & yet it is already doing really well: superb food, superb service, prime ingredients, elite technique (perfected textures, judicious seasoning). Elegant restaurant & yet comfortable, which is what you are looking for. This was my first visit at this restaurant, & I think that if they keep their standards as high as what I have experienced on that dinner, then you have right there one of the best restaurants of Montreal. Great addition to the Montreal dining scene.
The food, the atmosphere, the service....Everything was top notch. Beef Tartare was great, the Buratta was creamy & super tasty. Pasta was amazing (all of them!) & the desserts were to die for.
Amazing food. I had the 25$ combo carrot corn soup + risotto black bass for lunch. Extremely good food & amazing service. We also tried the steak & it was too good
