Amazing food, great options. Miso cucumber was tasty to start, had a beef rice bowl & the ginger brown sugar tea. 10/10 would recommend. Cute restaurant up a set of stairs.
One of my favorite places to go in DT! The chashus are crispy, the Waitress is super nice & the decorations are super cute too!

J'ai dîné chez DonDonYa il y a quelques jours & j'ai vraiment adoré l'expérience. Une adresse parfaite pour manger une cuisine japonaise authentique, généreuse & à prix très raisonnable.
👉 Ce que j'ai goûté :?🥞 Okonomiyaki (crêpe salée japonaise)?Ultra copieuse & délicieuse : pâte moelleuse, chou, ingrédients bien équilibrés, nappée de sauce okonomi, mayonnaise & katsuobushi (le fameux'poisson dansant'). Une entrée à elle seule très rassasiante.
🍚 Yaki Don (porc grillé)?Un bol de riz garni de porc mariné façon BBQ asiatique (soja, ail, gingembre, sésame, mirin). Le porc est tendre, caramélisé, plein de saveurs, simple mais extrêmement efficace.

Super cute cozy place, it was full when we got there, but friendly staff got us a table quickly. The food was delicious, quick considering the amount of people in there & reasonably priced.
Definitely recommend trying the yam fries!
J'ai adoré le DonDonYa, non seulement pour son service impeccable, mais aussi pour les prix avantageux pour des plats bien garnis & remplissant. La soupe était délicieuse & réconfortante , le bol de porc était aussi excellent & les frites au patates douces se distinguent des frites de patates douces normalement connus avec une poudre de prune rose leurs donnant un goût un peu sucré. En bref j'ai adoré mon expérience.

One of my boyfriend & I's favorite spots for a simple & cozy dinner date. I always take the gyu don because the marinated meat is so delicious. The popcorn chicken is also a must.
Their meals are very consistent & the service is always so friendly! (Which is exactly why I never hesitate to come back :)) Keep up the good work!
