It is very good Asian restaurant, maybe the taste is localized Asian food, similar to Taiwanese. It is not authentic Japanese food. For Japanese visitors, I recommend Yakidon. If you prefer localized Canadian Japanese food, I recommend Toridon which so sweet sauce is on the chicken & rice. Very reasonable price. Amazing!
A great hole in the wall Asian restaurant serving Japanese style dishes. Food is tasty & price is reasonable. Service is friendly & quick. Highly recommended.
Good japanese food at a decent price! Ordered take out & got the curry katsu, katsu, & tawainese chicken nuggets. Both katsu dishes were good. The curry was on the runny side, I wished it was a bit thicker to coat the rice. The taiwanese chicken nuggets were also good, however, the portion size was small. Only half the container was filled, which was disappointing. Would go back to try the other rice donburis on the menu.
Had a great experience here. The atmosphere was very cozy & the service super friendly. The food was good (not bad but also not exceptional) & priced really well. The only downside here is that the restaurant is pretty small so seating is limited. Would definitely visit again!

Quite authentic to restaurants you'd find in Japan! I definitely recommend trying the popcorn chicken. It has a unique sweet flavor & it's so addictive. Their specialty drinks are also very nice & worth trying! Prices are very reasonable as well.
This used to be a favorite of ours, but shrinkflation to the max. Lower quantities, higher price, lower quality. We used to eat here once a month, we won't again.
Cute little well designed spot. The food isnt super special but for the price & the kind staff id say its definitely worth a visit. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic food, hearty portions at a very low price especially post inflation. Had the Tonkatsu Don, sauce was savoury & sweet, & the meat was very crispy & moist. The rice was perfect with nice coleslaw & sweet corn. Dessert was also great. Service was great & food came out very fast. Would recommend to anyone looking for a full cheap meal of quality food.
Stopped by this place for lunch & loved it. It has a nice intimate vibe with some nice decor. The menu is a nice little book with a lot of authentic Japanese menu items along with pictures. We got some gyoza, curry torikatsu & the regular torikatsu. The meat, rice, & vegetables blended so well together. I did prefer the meat of the regular torikatsu more than the curry one but it was close. It was also at a good price point. Highly recommend this place over a chain type fast food joint for lunch.
Decent restaurants for students & couples The store is very small & can fit only a few people but still cute & nice Prices for two people be around 40~50. The fried porks are the best♥️ Service was just on average ig (Didn't refill water, no checking on customers, no greeting, not informing where to pay etc) I think I will visit here again :)
Neat little Japanese inspired restaurant but ultimately I think there are better places around. I found the portions a bit small for the same prices as ganadara or jako nearby. The okonomiyaki was 95% cabbage, & the meat wasn't even pork belly, this one was super disappointing for me. I ordered the dry curry & my wife ordered the Katsu curry. Our dishes were above average, but again, nothing incredible either.
I'm glad I tried it & I hope these kinds of places keep popping up & start open.
