Our wedding cake tasted great, but unfortunately, it was placed in the freezer even though it had real flowers on it. When the cake arrived at the venue, our coordinator noticed that the flowers had wilted. Thankfully, our florist was on-site & was able to fix the situation, although we did have to pay for replacement flowers. It's a bit disappointing, as dolci piu should have known not to freeze a cake decorated with real flowers.
The bakery actually recommended to use fresh flowers since sugar flowers are expensive.
The reply the bakery gave is infuriating. The bakery also did explain that they do freeze cakes at our consultation which is understandable & not a problem. When my husband picked up the flowers & hand delivered them to the bakery they were perfect.
Since I feel like being we are being called liars here are the flowers at the delivery point at dolci piu & here is the cake when they arrived at the venue taken by our wedding coordinato

I was looking for a pastry shop to order a birthday cake, & their Google page immediately caught my attention - the beautiful photos of the cakes, the appealing menu, & the high ratings convinced me to visit in person.

The staff was very friendly, especially the lady who helped me. She patiently explained all the cake options & guided me in choosing the right one. I decided on the citron cake, & it was absolutely delicious - just as she described!
A few days later, I came back for a small brunch, & as you can see in my photo, I really enjoyed it. Everything was fresh, tasty, & beautifully presented.

I highly recommend this pastry shop - both for their amazing cakes & their warm service!

The positive: Dolci Piu's cakes are honestly excellent. Very light & lovely base & buttercream, with great variety & beautifully decorated. The pastries & cookies are also great. I can't speak for their prêt a manger selection nor their cupcakes, I've never tried them.

The negative: The woman I assume to be the owner (or at the very least a long time manager; she is also the one who usually takes phonecalls) - my god is this woman poorly trained in customer service. Every time I have had the misfortune of speaking with her, she has been rude, short, condescending, & overall left a bad taste in my mouth, which is unfortunate because the rest of her staff is lovely. When dining in, she will actively turn her back or ignore you despite being the only person behind the counter, to the point where we have simply upped & left.

I do love this bakery, genuinely, & I always recommend it to others. That being said, I can only hope this woman stops interacting with her clientele entirely, because she sours the whole experience.

I ordered a customized chocolate-flavoured cake from Dolci Piu for our anniversary, & I couldn't be happier with the result! The cake was baked to perfection - rich, moist, & absolutely delicious. They paid great attention to the design details, & it turned out exactly how I imagined.

Dolci Piu truly made our special day even more special. Our family & friends loved the cake - we received so many compliments! Thank you for making such a memorable & beautiful dessert for our celebration. Highly recommend!

We chose Dolci Piu for our wedding cake & the flavors were super delicious!!! 75% of our cake was gone because our guests enjoyed it so much!! Definitely recommend having their amaretto & the Dolci Piu flavors!

Patisserie Dolci Piu has been our go-to spot for the longest time, & it remains one of the absolute best patisseries in Montreal. Every time we visit, we're reminded why we keep returning-this place never disappoints!

For me, it's all about the cannolis. They are hands down some of the best I've ever had-perfectly crisp shells filled with creamy, flavorful ricotta filling that's just the right amount of sweet. But while the cannolis are my usual choice, I've also tried their cakes, pastries, & coffee, & everything is just top-notch. Each dessert is made with high-quality ingredients & a level of craftsmanship that sets Dolci Piu apart from the rest. Their cakes, whether for a special occasion or just a casual treat, are rich, beautifully designed, & absolutely delicious.

Beyond the sweets, they also serve sandwiches, making it a great place to stop by for a quick bite. The balance of flavors in their sandwiches, along with fresh ingredients, makes them just as good as their pastries.

The atmosphere at Dolci Piu is another reason we love it. The place is always clean, well-organized, & inviting. Whether you're grabbing something to go or sitting down for a coffee & pastry, the experience is always pleasant. The staff is incredibly friendly & professional, always greeting customers with a smile & making sure everyone is taken care of.

My kids have also developed a love for Dolci Piu-every time I'm in Montreal, they expect me to bring back cannolis from there. It's become a little family tradition, & I wouldn't have it any other way.

I can't recommend this place enough. If you're in Montreal & you love pastries, do yourself a favor & visit Dolci Piu. Love it, love it, love it!

I've been going to dolci piu for years. I have good memories of my college years buying pastries & sandwiches. In recent years, work brought me back to the neighborhood & I wasn't surprised to feel the same warmth & good found I had discovered years ago. Easter season is my favorite because of the lobster tails & zeppoles. They're amazing! I recommend this bakery for any occasion, they have amazing pastries!

It was my first visit to Dolci Piu & I was not disappointed! I was shopping around for an'original' flavor, & came across their signature cake (i.e. Dolci Piu Signature)- - - - a combination of pistacchio, vanilla, hazelnut, & coffee - every bite bursts with flavor & is melt-in-your-mouth delicious! I highly recommend & will definitely be returning to try other flavors. The owner, Patty, is very professional, attentive & friendly, which only added to the overall very positive experience. Also, I love that there is some seating indoors to have a quick coffee etc ... Go check it out!

My husband & friend got me a birthday cake from here. The amaretto vanilla. I had given them a vague idea of what I wanted & boy did they deliver on both looks & taste. It was beyond!! Highly recommend!!!

Delicious & beautiful cakes & wonderful catering menu. I've been ordering all my speciality cakes from Dolci Piu for 8 years now & they never disappoint. The cake design is always beautiful & the cake inside is delicious. what more could you want?! We recently tried ordering from their catering menu & it was also fantastic. Their cold pizza is delicious, we love the spinach & sausage & the mushroom & cheese pizzas. The arancini & the chicken brochettes were delicious. Organizing the catering was also a breeze, Sabrina is very responsive & friendly to deal with. I would highly recommend using Dolci Più for any of your catering or cake needs!!

You can find salty or sweet which is amazing if you're craving anything. They also sell cake, personalized cakes, macarons, pastries. On salty side you have from salads to sandwiches, quiches, lasagna etc. I recommend 😍 also the decoration gives a Barbie vibe hehe all pink

I have eaten here, bought take-away & ordered take-away cakes. So far everything I have eaten here is delicious. I can recommend the almond croissant, the baguette, the vegetable quiche, the lasagne, the muffins & the lemon, raspberry & poppy cake.
