Overall, Dolci Piu is praised for fresh, high quality cakes and pastries, beautifully presented desserts, and a welcoming atmosphere. Many reviews highlight a wide selection of sweets, including cannolis and custom wedding or birthday cakes, with notes of light textures, balanced sweetness, and creative flavors, though the buttercream can be quite sweet for some. The venue is described as cozy and stylish, with nice decor, good coffee, and staff who are friendly and professional. Service is generally strong but occasional issues arise, such as crowds in a small space leading to longer waits, moments when staff appear busy with other tasks, or rare experiences of less courteous service and a wedding cake handling incident. The bakery is considered a reliable go to for celebrations and daily treats, with many repeat visitors and broad appreciation for the quality, freshness, and craftsmanship that set Dolci Piu apart in Montreal.
Cute, quaint & homey vibes. Good spot for a relax coffee & little pastry. Chocolatine has three rows of chocolate😋😋 (contrary to most places which is 2).

I've been grabbing cakes from here for a while & they're always a hit!
The cakes are nice & moist without being too sweet, though the buttercream can be a bit much for some. I've also tried most of the pastries & they're just as good as the cakes.
My favorite is the coffee éclair, it's light, airy & sweet. Honestly, I like it more than the classic éclair. The coffee flavor just takes it up a notch. The icing on top can be a little sweet on its own, but it balances out well with the whole éclair. I always grab one or two when I'm in the area.
The lemon raspberry cake is another favorite. It's light with just a hint of tartness, & the poppy seeds in the cake are a nice touch.
The zeppoles are perfectly light, not greasy, & just sweet enough.
I've also had the vanilla & caramel cake, & it's super soft & moist. The buttercream is on the sweeter side, but it goes really well with the cake.
Black forest cake is lightly sweetened & I feel like I can eat a huge slice without it being overwhelming.
Overall, this bakery is awesome, with a ton of variety. They've got baked goods, sandwiches, salads, & more. Definitely worth checking out!

Such a gorgeous beautiful patisserie that brings a smile to any customer entering the venue ❤?❤? We love simply love the decor of the patisserie & its many cakes & pastries & chocolates on display 🎉🎉 We initially started with a coffee, chicken panini, veggie salad, & hot chocolate & wowza so so delicious 🙏🙏 Full compliments to the chef & staff who made such delicacies & it then promoted us to order a Tiramisu slice as well as an Eclair au chocolat & wow 🙏🙏 Anyone with a sweet tooth will love love the sugary heaven of this place 😇😇 We cannot wait to come back to this 11/10 venue on Décarie blvd with fantastic service to try so many other items on display & of course the many many desserts ❤?❤?
After much consideration & traveling, I can say that this pastry store in Montréal Canada is amongst the best for a daily fix of fresh tasting products. This is not an easy feet to achieve as I have tried many ranging from USA,Canada,UK,ASIA. Of course there are more places I need to visit but currently the top favorite will be this location.
Honorable mentions : Tea shop in UK, & late night Turkish coffee shop in Chicago.
It's a cute but small place & great to buy a cake to go I especially like the pistache & orange & dulce de leche. Coffees are really good especially the macchiato.
However it could & should be better organized as they have two cashes yet in a tiny place you have to line up in one long line at one cash as servers go back & forth from one end to the other.
Patisserie Dolci Piu has been our go-to spot for the longest time, & it remains one of the absolute best patisseries in Montreal. Every time we visit, we're reminded why we keep returning-this place never disappoints!
For me, it's all about the cannolis. They are hands down some of the best I've ever had-perfectly crisp shells filled with creamy, flavorful ricotta filling that's just the right amount of sweet. But while the cannolis are my usual choice, I've also tried their cakes, pastries, & coffee, & everything is just top-notch. Each dessert is made with high-quality ingredients & a level of craftsmanship that sets Dolci Piu apart from the rest. Their cakes, whether for a special occasion or just a casual treat, are rich, beautifully designed, & absolutely delicious.
Beyond the sweets, they also serve sandwiches, making it a great place to stop by for a quick bite. The balance of flavors in their sandwiches, along with fresh ingredients, makes them just as good as their pastries.
The atmosphere at Dolci Piu is another reason we love it. The place is always clean, well-organized, & inviting. Whether you're grabbing something to go or sitting down for a coffee & pastry, the experience is always pleasant. The staff is incredibly friendly & professional, always greeting customers with a smile & making sure everyone is taken care of.
My kids have also developed a love for Dolci Piu-every time I'm in Montreal, they expect me to bring back cannolis from there. It's become a little family tradition, & I wouldn't have it any other way.
I can't recommend this place enough. If you're in Montreal & you love pastries, do yourself a favor & visit Dolci Piu. Love it, love it, love it!
Amazing coffee shop to eat & stop buy! & best place for weddings & events cakes. All designs are perfect, detailed, & always more wow results than expected!
It was my first visit to Dolci Piu & I was not disappointed! I was shopping around for an'original' flavor, & came across their signature cake (i.e. Dolci Piu Signature)- - - - a combination of pistacchio, vanilla, hazelnut, & coffee - every bite bursts with flavor & is melt-in-your-mouth delicious! I highly recommend & will definitely be returning to try other flavors. The owner, Patty, is very professional, attentive & friendly, which only added to the overall very positive experience. Also, I love that there is some seating indoors to have a quick coffee etc ... Go check it out!

I've gone here too many times to count. This is my favorite pastry shop. The food is amazing, the coffee is good & most of all, the pastries are pieces of heaven.
