I had a wonderful experience! The bhature were perfectly puffed, crispy on the outside, & soft on the inside. The chole had a rich, authentic flavor with just the right balance of spices. The boondi raita was fresh & creamy, pairing perfectly with the meal, & the pickle & onions added an extra burst of taste.

The portions were generous, everything was served fresh & hot, & you could really tell the food was made with care. If you're looking for delicious, authentic North Indian food, this place is definitely worth visiting. I'll definitely be coming back & highly recommend it to anyone craving a satisfying & flavorful meal!

Great food at a very reasonable price. Better than most Indian restaurants in the area. Jasmine, our waiter, provided excellent & friendly service. Recommended !

I visited this restaurant today, & unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The food did not meet my expectations at all. The mango lassi tasted like watered-down mango juice, & the chana seemed stale.
When I realized the quality wasn't good, I asked the staff to cancel my order. They hadn't even finished preparing everything yet, but they still refused to cancel it, which was frustrating.On top of that, the table was dusty & didn't appear to have been cleaned properly.
Overall, I was very disappointed with both the food quality & the customer service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.

👉🏼 L'ambiance est celle d'un restaurant indien familial, musique traditionnelle indienne, sourire du personnel souvent réservé, discret, & toujours extrêmement prévenant.
👉🏼 Un service simple sur mesure pour une grande variété de plats, allant des plats végétariens en passant par ceux aux crustacés & bien entendu ceux composés de viandes.

Nourriture toujours délicieuse. Un des bons endroits essayé à Montréal pour une cuisine authentique. Service agréable, je mets 3 étoiles car ils ne parlent pas un seul mot en français malheureusement. Sinon, je recommande fortement!

I had high hopes for Restaurant Doaba based on the reviews, but my visit was thoroughly disappointing.

From the moment I walked in, the girl manning the counter was blunt & rude. She seemed to lack basic customer service skills, treating us with a cold attitude, unlike the courteous behavior she showed towards Indian customers.

As for the food, it was a major letdown. Everything we ordered seemed to have the same overwhelming taste of ghee, with no real flavor or spice to distinguish the dishes. It was greasy & unappetizing, definitely not what we expected from an Indian restaurant.

Overall, the poor service & subpar food make it hard for me to recommend this place to anyone. There are far better options out there. I won't be returning nor recommending.

Consistently good & always available on skip the dishes at late hours. I ordered most of the vegetarian dishes & they've all been really good

I recommend the Chana samosa, chaat papri, aloo tikki. Over $30 on skip gets you free naan.
sept 8 2025: the malai kofta veggie curry was very good. I also had the Chana masala veggie curry & Sarson ka saag veggie curry & both were better than decent
Most recent order sept 12: everything was incredible. the best daal makhni I ever had! Great mixed veggies, aloo gobi & naans & rotis :) it came with a free mango lassi which was delicious as well.
I had the veggie burger in oct 2025 in house & it was good but I let them know the big slice of raw onion was a bit intense & they should cook the onion. The waitress was sweet
