You can truly taste the authenticity of the ingredients. It's been a long time since I've had a burger that felt this genuine - probably not since the mid-2000s. There's something refreshingly simple about it: no gimmicks, no trends, just a classic burger made the way it used to be.

I'm grateful this place is still around. It feels like a time capsule to when fast food wasn't pretending to be healthy - it was just honest, flavorful, & made with care. Dic Ann's is a rare reminder that simple done right will always win.

This was cool in the 80's but going back after all these years made me realize that it was & still is a gimmick. I also have never witnessed a server mess up this much at a'bar counter' with 7-8 clients. They actually sell franchises but they are not even trying at all.

Christmas came early this year my friends. Crossing the PIE-IX bridge heading straight to Chez Matante - a greater power took over & pulled me into to the Dic Ann's parking lot. When I walked in, there he stood behind the grill, Santa Claus himself the last disciple of the great Mr. Dominic Potenza. A man with 44 years of Dic Ann's experience manning the that holy grill, his name escapes me but his face is imprinted in my mind since I was 18 years old (do the math). He stood side by side with Dic & became a master himself. That is not a line - its unreal the quality this man serves out.

The best cheeseburgers ever, cheese dog on the side, Pepsi, Fries & then the ultimate Dic Ann's order came calling out of my voice'Repeat !' - I had tears in my eyes.

Now I know his time is limited - It would be a great move if the Franchise Group made him the corporate chef & let him teach all those new cooks how to do it right at the original restaurant.

I can testify that many franchises need his help. You can not pull some young lad off the street & hand him the spatula & expect anything great to happen - they all need training. The product excellence must live on.

I have serviced alot of restaurants & this place was surprisingly super clean even though it's the original location & not much of the kichen has been modernized it all super clean & well kept
