Great place for authentic Persian food! The dishes were flavorful, fresh, & reminded me of homemade Iranian meals. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, & the staff were very friendly. Definitely a nice spot if you're craving delicious Persian cuisine.
Modern, beautifully designed Persian restaurant with tall ceilings & great service. The Torsh kebab is the best in Montreal, hands down. A great touch is that the rice is served individually with TahDig (crispy rice). The Barg & Kubideh were also very good. The freshly baked Iranian Taftoon bread that is served with cheese, walnuts & herbs is another huge plus.
Overall, a stylish spot with authentic flavors & a great dining experience.

We had a great experience at this Iranian restaurant. The food quality was excellent, with authentic flavors & a very pleasant atmosphere. The professional management & warm hospitality of Mr. Kasra & Kiarash are truly commendable & make customers feel welcome.
Special thanks to Somayeh, our waitress, for her fast, attentive, & friendly service.
We will definitely come back & highly recommend this restaurant to others.

This restaurant was undoubtedly one of the best Iranian restaurants in Montreal. I always used to choose it. But this time, I don't know why, the food quality was not like it used to be. I always order kebab barg, but this time it was cold & didn't have the same taste as before-it even tasted like liver.
& throughout the whole meal, not once did a waiter come to our table to ask if we were satisfied with the food or if we needed anything. It felt like everything in the restaurant had changed-the chef, the waiters. But the vibe of the restaurant was as good as always.
I don't know, maybe I'll give it another try.
Ce restaurant était sans aucun doute l'un des meilleurs restaurants iraniens de Montréal. Je le choisissais toujours. Mais cette fois, je ne sais pas pourquoi, la qualité de la nourriture n'était pas comme d'habitude. Je commande toujours le kebab barg, mais cette fois il était froid & n'avait pas le même goût qu'avant-il avait même un goût de foie.
& pendant tout le repas, aucun serveur n'est venu à notre table pour demander si nous étions satisfaits de la nourriture ou si quelque chose manquait. On aurait dit que tout avait changé dans le restaurant-le cuisinier, les serveurs. Mais l'ambiance du restaurant était aussi agréable que d'habitude.
Je ne sais pas, peut-être que je lui donnerai une autre chance.
We had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday at this amazing Iranian restaurant! It was my Quebecois friends' first time trying Persian food, & they absolutely loved it. The dishes were delicious, the atmosphere was warm, & a special thank you to Siavash - he was incredibly kind & helpful throughout the night. Thank you for making our evening so special. After two years of living in Montreal & going to several Iranian restaurants, this was the first place where I felt like I was Iranian, both in terms of the taste of the food, the restaurant environment, & the lovely staff. It was great.
My go-to for Persian food; by far the best service; high quality food & very nice atmosphere with high ceilings.
The staff is very friendly & accommodating.
I had Iranian & non-Iranian guests here, & everyone was very happy!
The cherry on the cake? it is freshly baked bread!
The food was decent, but the service left much to be desired.
3 hostesses were present, but they spent most of their time chatting & laughing among themselves.
That might have been forgivable if they had fulfilled their basic duties - offering to take coats, refilling water, checking in, or properly cleaning the table between courses - but none of that happened.
Considering it was lunchtime & the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, the lack of attentiveness was even more inexcusable.
If the staff feel that basic service responsibilities are beneath them, they may be better suited to a different line of work.
We expected much more, especially from an establishment that should reflect the warmth, care & professionalism associated with Iranian hospitality.
Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.

I had an amazing experience at this Iranian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance was warm & inviting, & the staff were exceptional. A special mention goes to Ms. Golnar, who was incredibly kind, friendly, & professional. Her wonderful attitude truly added to the overall experience. Everything about this place was simply outstanding. Highly recommended👍
Update: Unfortunately, our recent visit to this restaurant was quite disappointing, especially compared to our wonderful first experience. The quality of the food had noticeably declined - the kebab was dry, the rice was watery & lacked the authentic flavor we expected. Service was also much slower; despite the restaurant not being busy (it was a weekday), it took over an hour just to place our order. Additionally, several times when we requested something, it was either forgotten or significantly delayed. While the staff remained polite & courteous, the overall service & food quality left much to be desired this time. I hope the management addresses these issues, as this restaurant has great potential.
As a result, I am reducing my original 5-star rating to 2 stars.

The food was top notch & the staff were super nice. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it.
I just hope the quality of food & service don't decline after a while, as most Iranian restaurants have done in the past.

I had an incredible dining experience at Diba.
The atmosphere was warm & inviting, the service was top-notch, & the Iranian food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The staff was friendly & attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food & a fantastic dining experience. I'll definitely be coming back
The kebabs are unbelievably tender, & the rice is packed with flavor! Hands down, one of the best Iranian restaurant experiences I've had so far. The service is great, & the vibe is super cozy-perfect for a get-together with family or friends.
& you have to try the kebab Torsh. It's a game-changer!
I recently visited Diba, a newly opened Iranian restaurant in Montreal, & it was a wonderful experience. The attention to detail is impressive, making the atmosphere quite pleasant. The warm fresh bread served with cheese, herbs, & walnuts as a welcome is both nostalgic & delightful. The portions are generous, & the prices are reasonable for the quality of food served. The kebabs are especially delicious, & our dining experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Diba will definitely become a regular spot for us."
It was my first time going there. The food is good. Comparing to other Iranian restaurants in Montreal, I like their koobideh (ground bedf skewer) the most. Barg skewer (veal) was delicious, the chicken skewer was not the best I had. So I recommend to try their Koobideh for $24 which is two skewers of ground beef kebab with rice. That's a great deal They serve you a bread made in the oven with cheese, walnuts & parsley as appetizers for free! I forgot to take a photo of that. I didn't try drinks or side dishes, desserts or tea.
