Beautifully designed, the restaurant provides accommodation for any occasion. Thoughtful distribution of different areas inside makes it possible to enjoy your evening, party or romantic dinner at all times. The bar in the middle looks vibrant & inviting.
& then the food. Delicious.
Excellent execution. Beautiful presentation. The menu is impressive & extensive. Whatever you crave for you will be satisfied. Portions are generous. Any modification is possible. Every single course , be it meat, pasta, salad or dessert , is prepared at the top level.
You want to try it all!
Same feeling for the bar. If you don't find your ideal drink just ask for it & you will be happy.
The team is professional. You feel welcome & cared for.

Pour le brunch // Bonne musique & menu plein de choix, mais tout est bien trop gras. & la serveuse était un peu bizarre genre malaisante. Les pancakes sont bons. Mais c'est des portion énormément trop grosses, peu importe ce que tu prends. Je conseille donc de partager pour éviter le gaspillage. Café mauvais. Au moins ls presentation était belle. La toast aux avocats avec le pain brioché, genre 1 tranche de saumon fumé, & bien trop de cream cheese avec le choix douteux d'une brioche pas crunchy pantoute.

Not only the food, the atmosphere, but our server Igor was beyond incredible. I've work in the industry for many years how & this place is top notch.
The pancakes? Amazing
The coffee? Incredible
The vibes? Unreal
The bacon? THE BEST IVE EVER HAD.
The Server? Actually beyond words, you know he loves his job & it shows. The care that he had for every little detail at our table. We order juice & he had the ice come on the side so we still got the same amount, we didn't even think to ask for something kike that but he was already thinking ahead for us. BEYOND LOVED HIM & THIS PLACE.

The location was fantastic! From the moment we reached the front door we were greeter by friendly faces. The food was delicious but our server Igor really sealed the experience!. Top notch service throughout!
The team at Deville was so welcoming , pleasant & professional ! Our server Igor was the best . he was warm funny & very knowledgeable of the menu . He constantly checked in on us & also did small things to keep us comfortable .
The food was delicious & well seasoned . Everything that past our table looked amazing that it stopped out conversations!!
Des salades incroyables (surtout la salade Tao) gustativement & au niveau des quantités & des milshakes alcoolisés succulents ! Je recommande

I stopped by for a late lunch with my girlfriend, & the restaurant was fairly quiet at the time. The gentleman at the front was very welcoming & seated us promptly, which we appreciated. However, after we were seated, it took a few minutes for our server to greet us & ask if we'd like some water. We said yes, but unfortunately, the water never arrived-even after waiting eight-ten minutes. During that time, the server appeared to be engaged in conversation with coworkers rather than attending to our table. Given the price point of the menu, we expected a higher standard of service. Ultimately, we decided to leave.
This was my second visit to this restaurant after the first time a little over a year ago. I was introduced to this restaurant by a group of coworkers & being back in Montreal with family, I could not wait for them to discover it as well.
Service was stellar, our waitress Manon was very helpful & more than anything else, truly enjoyed her work. She was smiling all dinner long, offered to take a picture of the table, & served our food at the perfect pace.
Food was delicious, we all tried something different & everyone loved their meal. I had the steak frites & it rivaled the best steak house restaurants I've been to. Definitely the best value I've had for a cut of steak at a restaurant in a while. Cooked to perfection & don't even get me started on the peppercorn sauce.
Now living far & being back in Montreal for a short visit, it's definitely nice to eat at unique spots that deliver on food, service & decor. Was it the cheapest meal we had during the trip? No. Was it the best? Definitely yes & while it's more expensive than a chain restaurant, the price difference is so little that it's irrelevant. & I dare you to find better value or a better meal for your money. I visited Toronto a couple weeks back & we ate at a restaurant twice this price that wasn't even half as good as Deville Dinebar.
Special mention: really delicious cocktails!

C'était ma deuxième visite dans ce restaurant après la première fois il y a un peu plus d'un an. J'ai découvert ce restaurant grâce à des collègues &, de retour à Montréal en famille, j'avais hâte qu'ils le découvrent eux aussi.
Le service était impeccable, notre serveuse Manon était très serviable &, plus que tout, elle semble vraiment apprécier son travail. Elle a souri tout au long du repas, a offert de prendre une photo de la table & a servi nos plats à un rythme parfait.
La nourriture était délicieuse, on a tous essayé quelque chose de différent & tout le monde a adoré. J'ai pris le steak-frites & il rivalisait avec les meilleurs steakhouses que j'ai visité. C'est sans aucun doute le meilleur rapport qualité-prix que j'ai eu pour un morceau de viande au restaurant depuis longtemps. Cuisson parfaite, & ne me parlez même pas de la sauce au poivre.
Vivant maintenant loin & de retour à Montréal pour un court séjour, c'est vraiment agréable de manger dans des endroits uniques qui offrent une cuisine, un service & un décor exceptionnels. Était-ce le repas le moins cher qu'on a mangé pendant le voyage ? Non. Était-ce le meilleur ? Absolument, & même si c'est plus cher qu'une chaîne, la différence de prix est si minime qu'elle n'a aucune importance. & je vous mets au défi de trouver un meilleur rapport qualité-prix ou un meilleur repas. J'ai visité Toronto il y a quelques semaines & on a mangé dans un resto deux fois plus cher, qui était deux fois moins bon que le Deville Dinebar.
Mention spéciale : des cocktails vraiment délicieux !
Ça vaut vraiment le coup d'y aller ! J'y retournerai lors de mon prochain séjour à Montréal.
Amazing brunch spot! They take reservations which is such a hard find. The menu was extensive & there were so many things we were interested in. Got the Yuzu pancakes which were TO DIE FOR, the mac & cheese wontons (so delicious) & the lobster Benedict (pretty good, but definitely overpriced at $49). Our server Maika was so wonderful & all the staff were very kind. Great spot for brunch can't wait to go back for a different meal time!
