I do think over the years it's changed but I supposed most of the downtown scene has. I've been a few times, experiences vary but I feel comfortable sending people to this location so long as they're aware of price point. I do think the prices are high for what it is, I've received the same feedback from many others. Atmosphere is great on weekends especially. Service is good but I will say was better á couple years back. Food is good. Open to coming back in the future for sure.
The food is great & the service is excellent, on a busy New Year's Eve we did have to wait an hour extra four our table but we were a large crowd & the manage gave us free shots & a free dessert!
Burgers & short rib are great choices!

Woooooooow excellent 10/10 j'ai dîné super délicieux ce soir🥰, une délicieuse salade & un poulet a la brasa qui était presque délicieux🥹💕, ce soir j'ai découvert un délicieux cocktail #PRETTYINPINK 🙃💕
The food was delicious. The waiter was very pleasant & attentive. Some guys were watching sports at the bar, so there was the occasional spike in noise but overall it was fine. Definitely would go again.
Deville Dinerbar was one of those places you visit without expectations but leave at the end of the night blown away. This may be one of the best eating experiences in Montreal from a food quality & presentation. What a great dinner style atmosphere & super friendly staff. Chef John puts passion into all of his dishes & runs a very impressive kitchen full of beautiful presentation.
Great food, Great Presentation, Great atmosphere would highly recommend. Don't forget the dessert, maybe the best I've eaten in Montreal, wow!! Easy parking with public parking lot right next door. Fantastic walking area especially if it's summer time. A must visit would highly recommend 👍👍
On a mangé les carbonaras brunch, un peu trop poivré. On a pris aussi le burger de cheval, très bon! Avec un pain doré a la crème brûlé qui est incroyable! Je recommande, bonnes portions, prix qui ont de lallure avec la qualité des plats.
It's a pricey place but it meets the expectations ⭐? the food was really good & the portions were nice (the apple pie was huge haha), our waiter was clearly the best, always making recommendations without being too insistant, it was a really nice moment :)
Everything about this place was amazing ! Maika was THE ABSOLUTE BEST her service was phenomenal she knew all about the men gave great recommendations & the food taste amazing ! We went for brunch & it was reasonably priced. Visiting from NYC this was definitely a great choice.

I went on a Wednesday night while I was in Montreal from New York for dinner & ordered the Cacio e Pepe pasta dish, which was fantastic. Service was wonderful, the waiters & hosts were incredibly friendly, & the vibe inside was super cool. No wait to be seated, & it was fairly uncrowded. 5/5 all around, would absolutely recommend.
Love this place amazing food big portions good service. Great place for a date or just dinner with friends or watch the hockey game. The menu is great & well diversified

C'est un très bel endroit où les portions sont généreuses ; on y mange clairement à sa faim & c'est délicieux. Le seul point négatif est la musique, beaucoup trop forte, ce qui gâche un peu l'expérience. Comme le volume est élevé, tout le monde doit hausser la voix pour se faire entendre, ce qui rend l'ambiance assez bruyante & désagréable. Je vous en prie, baissez un peu le son pour que le moment reste agréable !
We enjoyed our breakfast but would have preferred to sit in the spacious & mostly empty booths. However the booths are 18+, even during daytime dining so we were relegated to the noisy crowded harshly illuminated upper dining area. Put a damper on the meal.

It's a fun & lively restaurant. Music is loud, but it may have been because we were seating under a speaker. A good mix of styles.
The food was good; however, a little on the expensive side.
Deville has been my favourite restaurant in Montreal for the longest. I've been going there for several years (since way back when they had that jalapeno cornbread skillet entrée). I've had breakfast & dinner here many times over. Great food, great cocktails, great service.
Friendly & attentive service with food that is decadent, creative & an all around flavor bomb! Their Mac n cheese is next level, but if you want something lighter, their steak salad is the perfect blend of tangy, spicy & savory! 10/10 no notes.
I just came on here to say that my server Isabella was wonderful to me last night. She was kind, patient & so lovely. She also made a little treat for my birthday, those donuts were so fluffy & niceeeeee. Give Isabella a raise & all her tips! She deserves it.
