Every time I go to Deux Becs, I feel more like part of the family. The entire team is so kind & attentive, & honestly just a very cool punk rock gang.
Now, the reason why we're all here.. the donuts.
WOW.
Every flavour, every bite, & every taste bud is out of this world. I wish I could experience going back for the first time so that I could wow my senses again. Unlike other shops, everything they use is fresh & absolutely incredible. Aside from their regular rotation, they have the most creative specials I've ever seen. Call in sick tomorrow so that you can go & get at least a dozen donuts & live your life dreams.
Deux Becs in Brossard is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Filipino pastries & desserts! Their selection is always fresh, beautifully made, & full of comforting flavors that remind you of home.
The highlight for me is their ube donut-soft, fluffy, & perfectly filled with rich, creamy ube. It's easily my all-time favorite & a must-try whether you're new to Filipino treats or already a fan.
A fun fact:'Deux Becs' is French for'two beaks.' The name evokes the image of two birds, symbolizing partnership, warmth, & sharing-perfectly reflecting the welcoming atmosphere & the love that goes into their baked goods.
If you're in Montreal, go to Brossard & look for this unique, delicious pastries, Deux Becs is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to come back & try more of their amazing creations!
I had a wonderful experience at Deux Bec.
The donuts were absolutely delicious-fresh, soft, beautifully made, & full of flavor. You can really tell that quality & craftsmanship matter here.
What made the visit even better was the exceptional customer service. The gentleman working there was incredibly kind, welcoming, & generous. Near closing time, he thoughtfully offered me some of the remaining donuts instead of letting them go to waste, which was such a classy & appreciated gesture.
Great products, genuine hospitality, & a business that clearly values both quality & people. I'll definitely be coming back & recommending Deux Bec to family & friends.

C'MON! These are GREAT donuts. Original & unique toppings & filling you will not find otherwhere else in Montreal (ex: ube, mango & tajin, etc) or great old skool topping & fillings (ex: buttermilk, litchi, Dad's cookie, etc). The ube filling is on point!!! Light & creamy at the same time. Fresh flavour & LOTS of filling. Generous.
Caution: some flavours are on rotation/seasonal so grab'em when you can!!
In my humble opinion, these leaves Bernie's behind in the dust. Gives Homer a run for its money. If you like Krispy Kream for its soft like a cloud texture then stick with KK because what makes these hallow of goodness deadly is their dense & crumbly fritter quality (the stiffed donuts have a different texture).
Sometimes, I wish that the flavours would be sharper & stronger. Still, one of my fav donuts nonetheless.
Extremely friendly staff. Good vibes & decor in the shop as well. & most importantly; the donuts are fire!! Delicious, fresh & not overly sweet. Lots of variety too in case you do want something sweeter. I don't often go out of my way to recommend a dessert, but this is a must try for any donut lover!
Pistachio is amazing with a generous filling & real pieces. Lemon one is fresh & refreshing, the ube is okay in my opinion (a bit too sweet), the chocolate seems to be made with dark chocolate. Overall super fluffy & delicious, will update when I taste the others
Taste with imagination. The gourmet donut space is a crowded one, & the incumbents set a high bar. But this is the one to beat. Curation is key: they satisfy both the basic & curious with your standard vanillas & strawberries, & then surprise with the ube & buko pandan. The passionfruit glaze with cream filling was my favourite. Quality of the dough is the best I've experienced. It had a delicate texture, equal parts elastic & bubbly. Wall to wall filling. Especially surprising on the pistachio donut where you'd expect a lighter dose. Last but not least was the freshness in every donut. A rare distinction I hope they will maintain. While I have no complaints, I would likely to gently suggest the inclusion of a calamansi & peanut butter & jam donut. That would be bliss.
