I will be brief. When it comes to BBQ chicken, this the the best quality for the price on South Shore & one of the best places in the whole Greater Montreal area once again considering the quality for the price.
On the negative side, lots of local people know it & as a result the place can be crowded to the point that I avoid it during rush hour, but if you do not insist on dining in carry out never takes too much waiting time.
Well I had to change up my review…why you ask? The last two times we went they ran out of French fries & served us frozen fries & their chicken soup which is usu dry good was like canned Lipton soup but way over salted
I like to order the hot chicken sandwich & this time the quantity of chicken in the sandwich was 1/2 so I called the waitress & she said that's how it comes now so for 19$ never gonna order that again in fact after 20 years I don't think we will be eating there again prices have gone up too much & portion sizes have really gone down I am so so so disappointed with them even the size of my wife's 1/4 leg chicken meal was much smaller what a shame post Covid gouging finally caught up with them

Nice local restaurant with good food. The ribs are fall off the bone & have the perfect grill taste. Although I wish they were served hotter. The chicken was also very tender & delicious. Poutine was solid too. Portions are big & prices are extremely fair. Would come back.
The service was rushed & the staff inattentive. Thr waitress didn't offer anyone any drinks, despite them being included with the meal. She also didn't give me back my change after I paid, claiming a bigger tip, which was quite audacious. The chicken was dry & the soup tastes like Lipton with some chicken thrown in. It really isn't anything special. My son's chicken burger was nothing more than chicken in a bun. No vegetables or sauce. Mayo & lettuce would be logical, no? The fries are excellent, however. The whole experience felt like eating at a cafeteria. Not impressed.

I haven't been to a restaurant with this kind of interior design that gives an antique feel & I quite enjoyed it. The service was efficient & friendly but as we entered the restaurants, we saw some workers chewing on their nails which didn't seem too sanitary. The waitress that served us for the night though was pretty friendly which was nice. The food itself was quite tasty. Their ribs & their chicken are definitely a lot better than a lot of other restaurants, especially the chains. The meat is juicy & tender which contrasts the crispy skin very well. The fries have a similar texture which is crispy on the exterior & soft on the interior. The food was quite good. Their sauces were also flavourful which complemented the food so well in my opinion. For around 18$ a meal, we had a soup, a salad & a main course which was quite a lot. Even the main plate had a massive portion of food. It's definitely a generous amount for the price they are charging & I am happy to see some restaurants that are still serving so much food for such a reasonable price.

Best place for ribs & rotisserie chicken. It's worth the trip to the South Shore. Limited straight forward menu. Amazing fries! This place has been around forever & the decor shows it, but I don't go there to look at the walls.

Very good restaurant quite simply. Large portions of tender chicken or racks of barbecued ribs for a good price. The service is friendly & the athmosphere is very homey & almost rural for its suburban location. A classic in the area & one of the restaurant that does quebecois BBQ chicken best.
