1. BE CAREFUL when paying, they still have the tip percentage calculated over the amount with taxes, which is illegal in Quebec. The Law has been in place since May 2025, they had more than enough time to change it.
2. The drinks are 15$+ taxes, it's written 2oz of alcohol on their menu but you could barely feel it. Clearly diluted…
3. The food wasn't tasty either, the burger patty didn't look like it was made from ground beef, it tasted like a mix of different meat that has been Frozen for a while. Fries are Brown & incredibly oily….
A disappointment unfortunately. First & last time there.
Delicious food, & the service was super efficient. We received our food within 5 minutes of ordering. It was so good we went back for dinner on our last night in Montreal! The fries are so good & I highly recommend the Goat Cheese Sandwich.

Nous somme aller dîner à cette endroit un samedi à l'heur du lunch 🥗 la table d'hôte du midi offre un excellent rapport qualité prix. & le service fut parfait. Bref je recommande cette endroit.
C'est un delicatessen dont le smoked meat est comparable à celui de Dunn's & son club sandwich est l'un des meilleurs que l'on puisse trouver… généreux en poulet passé sur gril, sur pain de Première moisson. Tout est frais & le service est impeccable & très amical. Je recommande
The Nathalia server is great, super helpful & polite. She recommended the catwoman burger which was the greatest burger I've had, & I'm American. Superb, tremendous, agghhhg.
Avec la multitude de choix de restaurants dans Les Halles de la gare, nous avons choisi le Deli d'abord pour sa déco & son thème.
Pas déçu des plats qui étaient généreux & goûteux. Ça reste du classique pour Montréal mais c'est bien fait & le service est pro.
Très bon rapport qualité prix
Bon choix de bières 🍺 pour accompagner tout ça !

Emmanuel was welcoming & informative. Made an excellent recommendation between the beef sandwich & smoked meat. It was a total win with the smoked meat. The portions are very generous & the food delicious. I definitely recommend. Merci Emmanuel pour le bon service!
great evening! we visited to watch the Comdeyville, Comedy Club & we were not disappointed! appart from the show being super fun & entertaining, the restaurant itself was very welcoming. the food was pretty average but their drinks were really nice! definitely recommend!
The comedy show was fabulous, I would recommend eating before you go as the food was by far our least favourite of the trip. We tipped however did not tip the full 15% as the food was not good. Then when trying to use the bathroom before I left the server who was great until this point cornered me & asked what was wrong with the service. I told her the food was not good, she then told me "there's a 15% minimum for tips & that if we choose to tip less then we wouldn't be getting good service while in Montreal". I did not appreciate this personal approach after the show. We have no problem in tipping well & have done so on all of our many Montreal trips.
04/14 This is the second time I've been here as a spot to eat while waiting for my train. On both instances got the Philly Steak Sub (which I recommend best WHEN fresh) but was my mistake this time to carry the entire meal in my bag which ended up leaking. I was served by the absolute cutest girl with shorter hair, didn't catch her name but thank you for the great service, will visit again :-)

Great vibe & great laughs. Need to check out more of the menu because I was hoping for more deli style sandwiches & didn't see any. Will recommend this place for late night stand-up .
Large portion sizes, really tasty food. Highly recommend the Club & Maverick burger. Friendly staff & quick service. Far more than I expected at a train station. The airport restaurants could learn something.

Needed a bite between trains. This place looked inviting. Fantastic service from the moment my foot crossed the threshold.
I had my bags with me. The server offered me a place with room for my bags. Then when I asked about charging my phone she found me a spot for that.
Started with a nice Zinfandel that was refreshing.
The menu is extensive & in both French & English. Very helpful for a weary traveller.
I chose the Montreal Smoked meat with a side of coleslaw. The meat was tasty tender & obviously hand cut. The slices were a nice thickness. The coleslaw was nicely seasoned & just enough dressing so it wasn’t swimming in it. The dill pickles d pickled peppers were a nice addition.
If you are travelling through the Rail station or have a lay over between connections I’d recommend this spot. Away from the concourse. It offers a quiet relaxed place to rest & eat up before your next leg.
My server was a delight. I’ll definitely be back on my next journey
Came here for a comedy show Thursday evening. What a fun time!!! The host & all the comics were great, definitely recommend for a fun time. Food was good as well! A little hard to find if it’s your first time, located inside Gare Centrale.
