Del Frisco's is described by diners as a lively, stylish Italian inspired spot with wood fired pizzas, generous portions, and a warm versatile atmosphere that suits families, groups, or a date night. Food is consistently praised for freshness and flavor, with standout dishes and a wide menu including vegan options, while the wine display and bar area earn compliments. Service is often described as friendly and attentive, though a number of reviews note occasional slow or disorganized moments during busy times or with large groups, and some dishes or experiences fall short such as bones in fish, overly salty items, or pizzas with crust issues. The terrace and interior ambiance are repeatedly highlighted as appealing, and many guests express a plan to return and recommend it to others, citing reliability, value for money, and the ability to host celebrations.
Went with our family, nice restaurant, Massimo was amazing. I tried the Minestrone & pork chop. I didn't like the Minestrone, it didn't taste fresh, few beans, & pasta. The pork chop was amazing. Plate with a perfectly cooked bone-in chop, charred on the outside, tender & juicy inside.
It was Friday night & we were a large group, over 20. The place looked full when we arrived, but our table was ready on time. I'm old & antisocial, so the place seemed crowded & loud, but I decided to play through the pain. Our waiter was excellent. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly & efficient. We had drinks in front of us within 10 minutes. My beer was ice cold. Our appetizers & mains were timed appropriately. Portions were generous & my chicken was delicious. The bill for 2 meals & 4 drinks was just under 100$, tax in, plus tip. Worth every penny.
Great Italian food & wood-oven pizza in the West Island. Spacious dining area & a great bar section for a quick pizza or drinks. We had appetizers (deep fried calamari & fried zucchini), & they were both delicious, crispy, & abundant. The Pollo Classico as fantastic -- we chose a mix of delicious pasta alla oglio & grilled vegetables as our sides. This meal also comes with either a soup or a salad (at $4 more), so we were stuffed ! Great ambience too !
We had a nice evening & food was good. One thing I can say is the portions are very generous. The ambiance is great if you're in a large group, but a little noisy if you're having a romantic dinner for 2. Service was attentive & friendly.
