It is consistently very good food for reasonable price. They are always busy on weekends so sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but well worth it. Eggs, pancakes, potatoes & all your favorites done just right & in generous portions. Not fancy, not chic, just damn good.
I've been coming to this breakfast institution for as long as I can remember, & it's one of the rare places that has maintained its quality & charm consistently throughout the years. The generous portions & quality ingredients haven't changed in decades. It's reliable, delicious, the staff is absolutely lovely, & it gives you that old school family restaurant vibe.
This place is my absolute favorite in Montreal/Laval. I've been coming here for years, & every visit has been exceptional. The only downside is that on Sunday or Saturday mornings, there might be a line, but it moves quickly. The food is consistently delicious with a vast menu offering everything from sweet to savory, healthy to indulgent. The portions are generous, & the prices are very reasonable; I typically spend around $20 for a satisfying breakfast that keeps me full until lunch. Filtered coffee is included in the price, but there are also options for lattes, espressos, smoothies, & more. The servers are consistently polite & friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The cozy environment with comfortable booths makes it easy to enjoy conversations with friends or family, even when it's busy. Personally, I preferred it when they served syrup in bottles rather than little packets, but that's just a minor preference. If you're considering visiting, don't hesitate- you won't regret it!
