Small resto, not much space inside, no dine in, just take out, only cash! Came around 11:30pm, guy taking order with hat in the counter is terrible at knowing who came first. I entered first & this uncivilized guy behind me decided to go way In front of me, so the staff asked his order first before me & that guy started saying what he wanted! I immediately interrupted & said « I came first! ». Then the staff reacted in a way to humiliate me as if I was creating a scandal!! Are you kidding me??? I was waiting outside for several minutes because there was no space inside full of people & this guy who just came behind me will be served first??? I should just accept that? They have terrible customer service & attitude! I replied I wanted the order on the picture with the hot dog, poutine & drink.

I only came here with the intent to support the small restaurant over big ones! But this service is terrible at first experience & i left with a terrible memory! The restaurant is little dirty, small, no dine in & even 5 customers won't fit inside. Although the staff became okay at the end, it will never make up for the humiliation he purposely created on me in front of everyone. What a way to treat a customer. The food is nothing special. This review reflects my experience & what I saw tonight. The one star will be for the food. NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN! Total regret coming here. Will go elsewhere.

An OG establishment. Been coming to Hot Dog Decarie since I was a kid, this place will always be my number# 1 spot go to in Montreal. Same owner, same recipe. It's more than just hot dogs & poutine, it's tradition.

Prices have gone up a little too much for my liking & the poutine is nasty. That cheese idk what that is but that's not poutine cheese & the taste is so weird. Service is alright, but the food is not like it used to be.

Some meals don't need an introduction. A classic Quebec poutine loaded with squeaky cheese curds & rich gravy, paired with an all dressed steamed hot dog. Simple, messy, & absolutely delicious. #DecarieHotDogs #Montreal

What a gem this place is! You come for the hotdogs & everything else continuously brings you back. The fries are amazing. Then I tried the poutine chef's kiss! The burgers here are all smashed yet still juicy. Breakfast is so filling & fast. The people that work there are pros. They take your order make it fresh & presto it's in front of you. They make you feel at home & will discuss the event of the day with you to boot. It's cozy & vintage inside. Hand painted signs & visitor stickers decorate the place. 10 of 10 recommend!

I was there last night, enjoying one of they're famous tasty poutines when I witnessed the owner give food to a homeless man in a wheelchair. I suggest all of you to go support this wonderful business. God bless them

ive eaten here multiple times i love the staff they are always so welcoming & nice i now come here every other week just because of everyone around they are funny & caring. Food was amazing had the burger for the first time it was so good & my friend had the poutine he loved it aswell. I dont like poutine in general but this one was good. Everything about this place is AMAZING would recommend any day of the week
