We came here on a whim & it was a great decision!! The service was exceptional. We had the bestie combo (chicken), rose tteokboki & shrimp cream udon. Highly recommend the rose tteokboki as the sauce goes really well with the chicken. but everything else was also great. Would definitely recommend!
we had an amazing experience here. the food was very well proportioned & very good. the staff was wonderful & we want to thank them for being so accommodating.
Food is good for the price & expectation, feels like it's a good match, not gourmet food but you get what you pay for. Employees are very tactful & pleasant, if you're looking for some delicious chicken at a low stakes place this is a great choice!
Le black pink chicken est super bon poulet tendre & juteux. L'omelette fruit de mer excellent. Serveuse ,faite gaffe de pas tombé en amour si possible, super sympa, gentille & souriante. Ne vous faite pas avoir par les photo du menu les portions son plus grosse qu'ils paraissent 😁
The exterior gives you the impression it's abandoned but if you decide to walk inside, you'll be surprised with the quality of the meals. The Bulgogi Bibim-Bap was certainly my favourite. It made me think of a poke bowl without mayonnaise & more appropriate for dinner. The Haemul Pajeon was delicious.
J'aurais laissé 0 étoile mais le poulet reste absolument délicieux & votre employéen à la caisse a été très gentille & courtoise ainsi qu'elle à fait l'effort de parler en français. Mais nous étions extrêmement insulté hier lorsque nous sommes arrivés ma femme & moi chez mes parents avec le poulet. Comment pouvez-vous charger le même prix pour si peu de poulet ??? L'autre restaurant Dawa Chicken qui malheureusement était fermé hier nous donnes l'ittéralement un poulet entier pour le même prix que votre portion !!! Vous chargez le même prix pour 50% moins de poulet !!!! Non mais ça va pas la tête ?? Les gens qui vont manger chez vous ne le savent sûrement pas pour vous donner des 5 étoiles. Non mais qu'est-ce qui ne va pas chez vous ? Vous pouvez être certain que nous ne reviendrons jamais dans votre restaurant.
I've known about Dawa since 2022. Absolutely amazing korean fried chicken! You won't find this quality anywhere else. I moved to Ontario & I would still think about travelling back just to eat there. :)

Went there after a quick search on Google Maps.
No Dedicated Parking.
Place is nice, clean & cosy.
Staffs were welcoming & friendly.
As for food, we ordered a combo platter for 2-3 person & really wanted to taste the truffle flavoured one.
We were two & it was so much & couldn't even eat half of what we ordered & had to take out.
They were all really good but I expected them to be better though. The chicken seems same it's just the sauces that are different & can be too much I personally think.
But I was really disappointed with the truffle one unfortunately. I didn't get a hint of truffle & it cost more than the others I think.
Overall I would recommend 💯 It's a matter of personal preferences. Not the truffle though 👎
I am definitely coming back to try other things. I tried the shrimp tempura, seafood pancake & fried chicken with rice & salad which came with a honey mustard sauce that was really good 👍
I only popped in here to kill time before a dinner reservation nearby. Meaning, I wasn't planning to eat, just drink a little, but we got a golden fried chicken combo to split & ate ALL OF IT. This is a very legit Korean fried chicken!
It reminded me of local hole-in-the-wall'chimek' spots in Korea -'chimek' stands for chicken & beer ('mekju'). Plenty of soju & magkeolli options (get the peach if unfamiliar). Very good & very nostalgic.
Would recommend coming here & getting comfortably wasted with friends! Or, just come get their amazing Korean fried chicken
