I want to like this place as the family vibe is charming but it ends there. Very plain food, very expensive. The Khach-Khach Kebob was 6 pieces of ground meat, little flavour, in a scant basic tomato sauce for $49.
I'm sad to say there are so many better options for Lebanese food-which is why it was mostly empty for Sunday night dinner.

if you want generous portions of traditional lebanese dishes in a warm, welcoming family environment, this spot is a classic win. the garlic sauce is legendary, the kafta is perfectly seasoned, & the atmosphere feels deeply nostalgic & comforting. the only thing is that the interior decor feels a bit stuck in the past

decent spot if you're craving Lebanese food, though not the best Montreal has to offer. I went with a friend & we ordered the mixed grill plate along with Fattouch, Hummus, & Muhamara. The Fattouch was missing vinegar & pomegranate sauce, & the Muhamara was quite bland & lacked flavor. On the bright side, the grilled meats were well done & enjoyable. I have other go-to spots for Middle Eastern cuisine, so I wouldn't call this my favorite, but it's not a bad option.

This restaurant has the best lebanese food in Montreal! I highly recommend the chicken, beef & shrimp plates. The fries are awesome. The meat & spinach pies are delicious as well. Really friendly staff & nice atmosphere. 10/10 highly recommend!

Restaurant Daou has really good homemade & authentic Lebanese food. It never disappoints. Best to go with a few people to have a good variety of dishes to share.
