I want to like this place as the family vibe is charming but it ends there. Very plain food, very expensive. The Khach-Khach Kebob was 6 pieces of ground meat, little flavour, in a scant basic tomato sauce for $49.
I'm sad to say there are so many better options for Lebanese food-which is why it was mostly empty for Sunday night dinner.

Daou is the type of place that this neighborhood needs! No frills & generous portions of incredible homemade food. I left full, & with leftovers, & a smile on my face :-)

if you want generous portions of traditional lebanese dishes in a warm, welcoming family environment, this spot is a classic win. the garlic sauce is legendary, the kafta is perfectly seasoned, & the atmosphere feels deeply nostalgic & comforting. the only thing is that the interior decor feels a bit stuck in the past
