Wow! That's all I have to say. I ordered the Ricotta pancakes & I was completely blown away. It was beautiful. I took a bite from a friend's chicken sandwich & wow! Applause. This was a delight. The food is pricey but worth it.

FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!!, a little bit expensive but the food is worth it, personally I choose the pasta & it was delicious, the pancakes were also perfect & exceed my expectations, however, the service from the waiter was rude, in a hurry & with an attitude, the busboys were really nice & were more concern about our table than the waiter, the waiter took wrong 3 different dishes, never ask us if we need anything, but when explaining our concern to the busboys they change it for us with a smile & without a problem, 10/10 the busboys!
Please go to Dandy for the ricotta pancakes!!! I would have ordered one of everything on the menu but decided on zesty salad, which was SO GOOD. The spiked pistachio matcha latte too! I dream about having lunch at Dandy after my visit 😂
Lovely & stylish restaurant located on the ground floor of a beautiful historic building. Delicious meals served & great collection of drinks at reasonable price points. It gets really busy & there's usually a wait to get in & get seated. The wait time can be up to 15-20mins on very busy days & peak periods . Once seated, it takes another 20-25 mins for the food to arrive. So, you've got to put the wait time into consideration when visiting during peak periods. However, once the food arrives, you forget about the long wait 😊😉. The staff & servers were also very pleasant.
Great brunch spot! Absolutely loved the buttermilk fried chicken & the pancakes are also delicious. Be prepared to wait in line for a bit though on busy days!
if you are looking for breakfast in montreal - this is the place!! after being let down by Brasserie 701's menu, we kept walking & found this beautiful spot for breakfast. fate would have it, we showed up 5 minutes to open & were seated immediately. food was AMAZING. service was kind & fast, & the portions were amazing, we had leftovers for a snack home. WILL go again, hopefully soon!
Arrive early, we showed up just before they opened at 10am but there was already a line so we had to wait 1hr for second city. I initially regretted the wait but not after the meal! Chicken sandwich was fantastic & my daughter's loved the pancakes
Disappointing. I heard about the ricotta pancakes & had to try them. I make anginetti cookies with ricotta & they are super soft & light so I was imagining something similar. These were dense, with visible clumps of dry, bland ricotta. The syrup they were sitting in was a must. Restaurant was full on a Thursday at about 11 am - we were seated right away but the tables were so close together along a long bench that I had to move the table to sit down. No carpet or soft surfaces so sounded like a typical loud, busy diner. I tried to order a scrambled egg to get some protein with my pancakes & learned they would not serve their eggs scrambled, only poached or fried. I ordered hard over because I don't like a wet yolk. Came out so salty I could barely eat it. Maybe the chef was offended by my order? The experience just didn't live up to the the hype.
Food is good but def not worth the wait. Just your normal overpriced brunch items (we are talking an avocado toast for $22 CAD). Nothing too special. What made us uncomfortable to give it a better rating is the service. Not sure if it's because we didn't speak French or looked like tourists. We found our server to be not attentive. Our server took our drink order & then was no where to be found. We had to try very hard to fly him down. The table next to us were seated after us but got their order & food way faster (We didn't get our food until they were almost done).
A stylish restaurant in a gorgeous historic building. First walking by at 11:30 am on Saturday & there was a long line. On Monday, we came 10 minutes before opening & there was a line also. Everything was delicious including the drinks! The servers were very sweet. The pancakes were a hit & the zesty salad might be the biggest salad I've ever seen but I almost finished it because it was so delicious. Highly recommended!
Absolutely amazing brunch experience! I'll be thinking about the ricotta pancakes til we come back. Service was great! Drinks were great! Our patio spot was great! 💕
